I personally don't believe that they will find any ties between him and any of the other missing girls from the area. As for Lauren speirer and crystal grubb, I believe the bloomington police dept knows who killed both of them and just don't have enough hard evidence to convict.

He certainly was a very violent person with a very violent backround but I don't believe he has ever killed before. This wasn't the work of someone who has done this kind of thing in the past.

Just moo.

It's late gosh. But before I forget, did anyone happen to see the story that CNN ran about 3 weeks ago on "sugar daddys"?
Most of the young girls were very attractive and of Hanna's age. They provided company to older gentleman for money, gifts, apts, cars and such. Quite a bit different that a hooker/John relationship but still some of the same.

They actually followed one girl on a "date" and the guy never showed up.
The ran a backround check on him and found he had been involved in fraud, embezzlement, lewd behavior with a child. Etc, etc.
Pretty scary stuff.

The "She made it home" news was one of the rumors I read on other forums a few days ago.

I bet he had no idea where he lost his phone and spent all night looking for it. By the time he drove all the way back out to where he dumped Hannah, it was too late.

I thought that was confirmed in MSM recently?

:bump:

@abbytonsing: "At this point...detectives believe the cab driver did exactly what he was asked to do and took Hannah home," ISP Sgt. Curt Durnil.

@abbytonsing: Durnil on Wilson and Messel: "We know they came together after her cab ride home, we just don't know the exact time or location."

Robin said less than a year ago, Hannah told her mom she did not want people to cry over her death.

The Wilson family said Hannah was excited about graduating from IU this spring and she had just taken a job as a junior varsity cheerleading coach at Fishers High School.

"She said she wanted to rent out a place downtown or somewhere, and everyone had like limos and you know there would be music and dancing and celebration of life, not the candles and the black and the depression," Haley said.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Detectives believe Indiana University student Hannah Wilson, who was killed last week after a night out drinking, made it home safely and was murdered sometime in the following hours.

Sgt. Curt Durnil with the Indiana State Police told 48 Hours' Crimesider investigators have reason to believe that Wilson was dropped off at her house by a taxi cab service early on the morning of Friday, April 24.

It's still unclear when and where the 22-year-old came into contact with her alleged killer, 49-year-old Daniel Messel, of Bloomington.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Hannah Wilson, the Indiana University senior found dead a week ago, made it home on the night she was killed, according to police. Detectives believe she was murdered sometime during the hours after she got home.

Whoa - here is the full court document of probable cause.

<Court documents still make it unclear how Wilson came into contact with Messel.

Messel refused to speak with police upon his arrest.>

Read the full probable cause affidavit below, scroll to the bottom of the article for the actual court affidavit.

There is a ton of information included in this police report. The clothing she was found in etc.... please take a moment to read the court doc....

It says she was found in a sweatshirt and black yoga pants, I think she changed after getting home and maybe got online with DEM, not knowing who he really was..... JMO. Perhaps they had been chatting off and on for a while and there was a level of trust established. So glad to hear they are extensively examining his cell phone and online accounts.

BLOOMINGTON — Daniel Messel once hit his own grandmother so hard he broke a bone in her face.

He hit, slapped, bit and pulled the hair of a girlfriend.

One time, when a woman stepped in the middle of a fight Messel was having with her husband, Messel knocked the woman to the ground, then began punching her in the face. Unsatisfied, he went outside and found a wooden 2-by-4. He then beat her over the head.

Each of those times, Messel was arrested, charged and convicted with a crime.

Hi all!

I just saw this article of Daniel Messel's past, forgive me if it's already been posted.

http://www.idsnews.com/article/2015/04/daniel-messel-has-long-criminal-history-of-battery

Daniel Messel, 49, who is charged in the murder of IU senior Hannah Wilson, has a criminal history spanning decades.

Since the 1980s, Messel has been arrested on counts of battery, confinement, driving under the influence, battery with a deadly weapon, criminal mischief, resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct.

Messel was charged with several counts of battery, among other charges, in 1986 for hitting Michelle Day, his then 16-year-old girlfriend.

In March 1992, Messel was sentenced to a year’s incarceration for battery. By then he already had a history of battery and like offenses, according to court documents.

p.s. I searched his initials and his birthdate the same syntax that he used on the sugardaddy site: DEM8765 and found a couple of links to a homosexual *advertiser censored* site, which I can't post here, but you get the idea. Did he have mother issues??? Why is he so angry at women?

According to this article he did have some issues with his mother:

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...dents-slaying-long-history-violence/26752185/

He also shared with prison officials the source of some of his anger. His parents, Paul and Charlotte Brown, divorced when he was very young. His mother remarried Gerald Messel, who became Daniel's adoptive father when the boy was 3. After that, Daniel's relationship with his mother deteriorated and he found the period to be very difficult. He wound up living with his adoptive father.

Just thinking out loud!!!
