TJs mother is a mess. As any mother would be
@Boxer I was thinking the same thing. Do you think there will be a pretrial meeting? The one case in Lafayette that just happened. It was 2 years before they went to trial. MOO I wouldn't be shocked if it is continuedOnly two months till the pretrial meeting. It will be interesting to see what happens.
@Boxer moo it will get continued. All the cases that I have seen for a murder it's sometimes a year or even two before it goes to trial.A plea deal stops the cost - The preliminary trial meeting is in September. That is when l would expect them to negotiate a possible deal.
It was on here. I can't find it now since there is so many comments. But someone mentioned that maybe he was.Trial is set for October 22. The money is to pay to fight hard to lessen the charge from Intentional Murder.
Who said TJ was framed?
Please provide a link.

Yes the premeditated part is what doesn’t make a lot of sense considering the body was found in TJs closet. I wonder where RMs vehicle was eventually found?
I’m sure there’ll be more evidence heard during the trial but IF on the off chance (innocent until proven guilty) somebody attempted to frame TJ and RM did leave, then later his body was placed in TJs closet while TJ wasn’t at his home, all we know for now is the highly incriminating evidence coming from the three young women - SR, TJs girlfriend and her friend which certainly appears to nail the case shut. IE, TJ going to SRs, TJ announcing RM was coming over, the removal and hiding of the bloody cushions, etc.
Why I’m look forward to hearing if there’s more to the story is because on the surface this case didn’t require any intensity of police work whatsoever to solve. If only crime solving were all so easy, the perp giving himself away like this.
@Boxer everything I have seen online is that TJ was a very good kid. I seen one post online that he was involved in his church, worked, good grades. MOO it was probably a shock to TJ family to. I was trying to find the post on wlfi that talked about this. It said TJ came from a good family. I still feel like in MOO there is more then what we have. I will be interested to see how it all plays out. If it comes out that everything the media said was true and there isn't anything else then he will have to deal with the choice that was made.
I think @Purduegirl12 is possibly referring to his school days. She said he was a good kid.MOO
Jasper is not a "good kid," he is a troubled young man that killed another man. Probably over obsessive jealousy.
Blunt force blows with trauma to the head and ligature strangulation. Really vicious, extremely personal and intentional.
The media has just reported the police statements and the criminal charges.

Indeed it is sad. I can only guess that drugs and mental health must have had a part in any change. MOO.MOO very unfortunate for RM and his daughter that TJ seemingly changed. That he didn't go on to college is puzzling.
BOXER, Excellent moniker for a poster who "gets in the ring" and succinctly posts their opinion. As opposed to me, who dances all over the ring....afraid to throw any punches and hopes the opposition will just wear out watching my fancy footwork!MOO

Purduegirl, I agree with you on this point..."deal with the choices" ..' I can't even imagine having to spend the rest of my life living with the choices I made at 18. Just tragedy beyond comprehension.@Boxer everything I have seen online is that TJ was a very good kid. I seen one post online that he was involved in his church, worked, good grades. @IQuestion what do you mean when you said "and their reps"I was thinking about the handsome, smiling face of Ryan Martin and thinking how sad for his little daughter not getting to see him anymore. (Just looking at his smiling photos, makes me smile right back at him.) Every Father's Day so gut wrenching. Even the elementary school traditions we all take for granted, will be filled with sorrow. I remember teachers having us make Mother & Father's Day Cards to give to our parents. Multi colored construction paper cut outs....mostly flowers and stars, tons of glue and glitter. Sometimes we do not stop to think about the huge void in the lives of victim's family and children, forever! Sadly the perps (and their reps) always want the patience, understanding and mercy they never extended to their victims!
@IQuestion what do you mean when you said "and their reps"
IMO to me that means the legal defense team, but really any people pleading for mercy, understanding and compassion for an assailant who did not show mercy to their victim(s).
