Good spot.

Says address or phone number change.
MOO He still lived in his home of many years so JMO it is a phone change.

@Boxer did you happen to see anything before they sealed the case? I thought I read were others were able were able to see certain things. I'm just wondering because maybe there is more details and we just don't have those. I will be curious to see if it goes to trial if they will have it in Tippecanoe County or if they will have a change of venue. I'm not sure how that works or if that is even possible. I think they only do that if you do a jury trial and it's hard to get jury because the case is so well known.

MOO I doubt a change in venue.
No, I did not see anything but what is in Odyssey or the media.

@Boxer I would think they would have done it sooner then 12 hours. If SR called the police at 8am and they suspected something. But your right normally missing people cases don't get looked at right away. They must have not suspected anything in the beginning. Or they would have got it sooner moo

MOO to me it seems incredibly fast for a missing person report. After talking to SR LPD went and talked to TJ, I think in the afternoon, after that they must have talked to their shift leader, explained their suspicion of being lied to, got the request for a search warrant to the judge, got it approved and served it by 8pm.
Even if they suspected TJ lied to them, actually finding RM's body must have been a shock for them. I think it was excellent police work by the LPD.

I agree it is fast for an adult missing person and they probably could not even be sure he was missing. Even with her report, she was safe and it was a breaking of a restraining order and as far as RM, she just had not seen him and was concerned that he was missing. I think that is extremely fast and one cannot get a search warrant without first determining enough cause to obtain one and then one has to get a hold of a judge to get it looked at and signed who may very well have a full docket.

I think 12 hours to interview, investigate, get cause and look into it and get a warrant signed is impressive imo.

All jmo.

@tresir2012 was it proven that TJ went into the house? Or was it just SR saying that? Maybe RM didnt come home on time and SR was upset because she knew TJ and him were friends and wanted to get TJ in trouble. Idk it's all so odd.

MOO after finding RMs body - the forensic team probably went to RM's home for evidence to place TJ there for the residential breaking and entering charge.

That makes sense. I know sometimes they do what they call stacking charges so they have room to dismiss charges if they do a plea. Didn't know if maybe that was why they did that one. It will be interesting to see what happens in Sept.

Is there no cost if it is a private lawyer or do you mean there's no cost from that point on?
I'm sure the main cost for it is the lawyer looking into everything. And for the trial. I wonder why they didn't go with a lawyer from Lafayette? You would think it would cost more having one from out of town. Most lawyers charge anytime they travel back and forth.

A plea deal stops the cost - The preliminary trial meeting is in September. That is when l would expect them to negotiate a possible deal.
Do you think there will be a plea? I always wondered if they offered pleas when they were unsure if they could get a conviction? It will be interesting to see if they offer one and what it would be or if TJ would take it.

MOO Doubt if it is stacking, since it initiated the probable cause, but still you are right about it being part of the negotiation.

MOO It depends on how the DA sees the case. Whether a plea serves justice as well as secures a conviction that is fair. So far its straight ahead intentional murder.
I don't think we will know anything more until September.

Delphi lawyer is probably due to TJ coming from Delphi and his family is still there.

Was it TJ or RM that said that

MOO that is the ticket for a lane change w/o signal incident with a farm vehicle at Prince William and I think Division Line in Delphi.
The lane change incident was Sep 2017 according to My case. This is Jan 2017. But I agree it looks like a traffic incident. Maybe no fault incident that time due to road conditions as it was January. MOO

You are right, completely different incident.

The Jan 4 2017 was at CR100 and Hwy 421, that is the corner that Indiana Packers is on.
