Thanks for all the info.Guilty verdict could be thrown out in murder case
A guilty verdict for a convicted murderer in Vanderburgh County could be tossed out by a judge.

Loehrlein was scheduled to be sentenced Friday. Instead, lawyers agreed to re-think the judgement.
Judge Robert Pigman heard a motion to throw out his guilty verdict because of juror misconduct. Details weren't discussed in open court, and none of the lawyers involved explained anything.
According to U.S. legal definition, juror misconduct can be one of several things:
- Talking about the trial outside the courthouse.
- Using evidence outside trial to influence the jury.
- Considering theories outside court.

The juror in question will give testimony at a private deposition November 29. Lawyers will submit written arguments to the judge by December 21. Loehrlein is scheduled to be back in court January 10.
