With all the people he has on the "dream team" the dollars are adding up quickly for sure.
If there is any truth to this, it is the height of craziness. You can kill your baby, then sell pictures of your baby and videos of her, make a ton of money to pay for a defense team to get you off or lighten your sentence from the money. Just nuts!!!!!

State Attorney's Office received at least one complaint, a complaint that Baez may have made a contingent deal with entertainment interests that means he gets paid based on the outcome of the case, which is banned by the Florida Bar.

That being said, some of the members of the defense are "A" listers (no pun intended!) but is JB really the best they can do? Other than "UHMMMMM...UHMMMM...my girl, no I mean my client is innocent" what has he done??? No Mark Gregaros? Of course, he could be LA's lawyer that says "my client is not guilty of obstruction" before anyone ever said he was. Not really sure I understand that strategy!

If the defense is paid by an entertainment company they should be disbarred and formally chastised. Conflict of interest!!!!

Baez cannot be stupid enough to take a contingency in a criminal case. That is not to say he is not getting paid from the licensing fees, that is obvious. But that is different than contingency.

Yup...somehow I don't see Henry Lee, Baden, all the others hot footing it down to Florida to defend Couey...but this case...they actually think they have a chance to throw doubt on the forensic evidence and change the outcome...AND promote themselves.

I swear to gawd...they would have trampled IMOO, right over Caylee's little bones to get in front of a camera and advance themselves...

If what they offer however, if what I was Lee putting forth on NG...they better get some more experts and some more $$$...

In Baez's case...if it's based on the outcome, that is no different than the Basketball referee scandals last year.
