K. Reichs was just on CBS morning news whining again about never having met such "resistance" with LE. It just got me thinking that the Sheriff's office is enjoying toying with the evil one.

Myself I would have felt uncomfortable knowing that JB and Dr. Lee were allowed anywhere near the scene. I don't trust JB as far as i can throw him and wasn't Lee accused of some wrong doing by the judge in the OJ trial? I thought I heard he had withheld some evidence. I think LE made the right call with this one. The defense is grasping at straws because they are in the dark right now so the only thing they can do is try to discredit LE. I can also see how JB loves running his mouth and would be singing like a bird if he knew anything about the crime scene. I think LE is just protecting their case.

Calling in all these "experts" - WASTE, A HUGE WASTE!!! She will be convicted swiftly and with no doubt. ABSOLUTELY!

Of course the defense will come up with some mis-truths or half-truths but in the end there will be no but.

LE knows in their gut they have KC hands-down. I just hope they all go out for pizza when its all over.

Now I made an oopsy - the gag order was denied because IMO the Judge thought that all this "talk" from CA and GA wasn't doing anything to "help" their case. It was the prosecution that asked for the defense to be gagged. I kinda thought "who cares" but then - look who dropped the ball about tentative ID last Friday. It was Baden (or JB) that announced in court that the "anthropological measurement and color of hair" found was consistent with Caylee.

The defense in this case will sink their own ship - loose lips, sink ships.

ITA re dr.Lee,we all know he messed up with the crime scene in the Spector case.

I dont think LE is toying with the defense. I think LE is taking their time, to be careful, so no mistakes are made in the case.

I commend LE for not buckling with all these "hollywoods" in town. I don't believe they are playing games, but that instead they are absolutely focused on the crime scene, and have been since day one. I feel it in my gut ,that JB in all his arrogance is going to, in a backwards sort of way lead us to (justice for) Caylee. In my gut, I feel "she's close", really close to finally getting a proper resting place. I believe (peace and justice for) Caylee is out there, somewhere, and until the OCSO tells me differently, I will continue to believe that.

I don't think OCSO is playing any of this. The "players" are the defense. There is absolutely no reason for JB or any of the team to be tromping around at the scene. They would be the tainters of evidence.

I am sure that LE knows everything about Mr. Lee and his ability to make evidence disappear. I too would not want him anywhere near anything until it has all been cataloged.

No, these men and women have conducted themselves as professionals. I think they want to make sure that they collect every piece of Caylee they can find, and if that takes 31 days the defense will just have to wait. IMO KC already knows that it is her daughter, because SHE tossed her in the woods!

Of course she does, IMO. I hope she has laid awake at night biting her nails down to the quick and is now starting on her toe-nails.

It's irresponsible of these high powered 'experts' to complain about that, just because they don't get to watch.

A group field trip to watch Dr G at autopsy wouldn't have hurt, but the crime scene? Give me a break.

I did an about face with my opinion on the restrictions posed on the defense. For LE, you have ONE chance to collect evidence in a pristine state. Having the defense looky-loos around only ups the chance some piece of forensic evidence is deemed not trustworthy or tainted because someone stepped on something or sneezed or whatever. And what pray tell is the basis for the claim that these 'experts' have some obligation to behave themselves at the scene? They are paid for the opposite side. It's like giving a robber a loaded gun and asking him to recreate the crime.

It would have been nothing but a huge distraction from important work for CSI, LE, and the medical examiner, especially since the defense experts not only wanted to observe, but to 'offer suggestions'.

The state/prosecution/LE side so far has exhibited an extremely high level of professionalism, and I have 100% confidence in them all that they will continue to do an exemplary job.

All I keep thinking of on the defense side is that their client had full access to Caylee, and all the delight she had to offer. Their client chose to murder Caylee. That is what took away the defense's access. Their whining irks me.

I just sit and grin with all these new developments. Remember slow and steady win the race. LE has had it tough from the get go with this case. They just put their heads down, worked hard and honestly, turned a deaf ear and kept plugging away. NOW - they have the upper hand and they know it.

ITA. Can you imagine how hard it must have been listening to CA dump all over them(OSCO) and not respond. Knowing full well that she has plenty of things to explain. They(OSCO) didn't tell lies and spit venom very chance they got.....like some have.

Absolutely not! LE has too much hanging here to toy around. This case is too highy publicized for them to play games. I think they are doing everything according to the books, and are suffering at the sight of Caylee's remains and the callous nature of the perp. No way LE can take any kind of chance on this case. They are under as much scrutiny as every A fam member.

I also don't think LE is toying with anyone. They are doing everything exactly right, by the book and with attention to every little detail.

If/when this comes to trial there is going to be no wiggle room for the defense - other than whining about not be allowed into an ACTIVE crime scene. I don't think there is a LE group anywhere that would allow defense experts into an active crime scene. Can you imagine the screaming that would have occurred if it was the reverse? How about the prosecution wanting to 'sit in' on the defense teams strategy meetings or the prosecution asking to have their expert sit in when JB talks to Casey. Oh yeah, like that would be allowed, right?

I don't feel that the OCSD or the FBI is deliberatly holding back just to cause additional havoc in any of the Anthony lives. Right now they are dotting their "i's" and crossing their "t's" before making a formal acknowledgment of the remains.

Here's what I don't understand about the whole 'scream team's' contention regarding being able to view the autopsy as it occurs....

Charges are not usually brought until AFTER a body is found and evidence is gathered by LE to substantiate who the perp is. Normally, at this point, an autopsy has already been done, forensics have already been completed, and the crime scene has already been abandoned.

The perp gets counsel when charges are brought, USUALLY after the fact. Thus, defense does not typically attend the crime scene, forensic determinations, and autopsy.

This case is different because LE had enough circumstantial evidence ahead of the body find to proceed with prosecution. That's what they should be combing through....working their way to the body. Not standing around a crime scene whining about not having access. JMO

With Reichs on TV this morning it only shows that the Prosecution was "absolutely" 100% correct about anything the defense get their mitts on will be broadcast nationally within hours. Can you imagine what she would have said had she (or any of the others) been allowed in the morgue or at the crime scene?

A day after the State's atty made the argument about the media, Ms. Baden went on Geraldo and invited him to film the crime scene. It horrifies me to think that when the defense does their autopsy that Geraldo might be standing there filming his exclusive. Ya think the defense might get paid for that?
