'The IDF, together with the entire Israeli security establishment, will continue operating until all the hostages are returned home'.

'The IDF Spokesperson reiterates the importance of demonstrating patience and sensitivity during this time out of respect for the released hostages and their families.'

Writing on Facebook after their release was confirmed Yoni Asher said:

'They're finally here, at home.

'There will be more time to talk about everything.

For now - thank you all,

Who are the released Israeli hostages?

Margalit Mozes, 78, who was abducted from her home in Kibbutz Nir Oz. Her family say she has health problems that require almost constant medical care.

Adina Moshe, 72, was also kidnapped from Nir Oz. After the attack, she was identified by her family in a video clip showing her wedged between two Hamas fighters on a motorbike.

Daniele Aloni, 44, and her five-year-old daughter Emilia. They were kidnapped from Nir Oz along with Daniele's sister Sharon Aloni Cunio, 34, her husband David Cunio, 33, and their three-year-old twin daughters Ema and Yuly.

Doron Katz Asher, 34, and her two daughters Raz, four, and Aviv, two, were taken captive while staying with relatives near the Gaza border. Doron's husband, Yoni, saw a video of his wife and daughters being loaded on to a truck with other hostages. He also traced Doron's mobile phone to Gaza.

Ohad Munder-Zichri, nine, his mother, Keren Munder, 54, and his grandmother Ruthi Munder, 78, were kidnapped from Nir Oz, Israeli officials said. The Associated Press reported that a phone signal has been traced to Gaza.

Channah Peri, 79, was taken hostage along with her son Nadav Popplewell, 51, said Channah's daughter Ayelet Svatitzky, who was speaking to them on the phone when the gunmen burst in. She said the captors sent pictures of her two relatives, who both have diabetes, with armed men in the background.

Hanna Katzir, 77, appeared in a hostage video released by Islamic Jihad on 9 November. In it, she is seen sitting in a wheelchair as she addresses the camera. She was abducted from Nir Oz, along with her son, Elad Katzir, 47.

Yafa Adar, 85, was kidnapped from Nir Oz. Her granddaughter Adva found a video of her being taken to Gaza, surrounded by four armed men. Yafa's grandson Tamir, 38, who defended the kibbutz as part of the Nir Oz emergency squad, was also taken to Gaza, the Times of Israel reported.

Hostages already freed

Prior to the deal struck between Israel and Hamas, four hostages were released, and another was freed by Israeli forces:

UN says 137 aid trucks unloaded in Gaza since truce started

A total of 137 trucks carrying food, water, medicine and other essentials have been unloaded in Gaza since the Israel-Hamas truce began, the United Nations has said.

It is the biggest humanitarian convoy to enter Gaza since the war started on 7 October, the UN office for humanitarian affairs said in a statement.

The UN said 129,000 litres of fuel also entered the Palestinian territory and 21 patients in critical condition were evacuated from the north of Gaza.

"Hundreds of thousands of people were assisted with food, water, medical supplies and other essential humanitarian items," the agency said in a statement.

It said a total of 200 trucks were sent from the Israeli village of Nitzana to the Rafa border crossing between Gaza and Egypt.

In his first statement following the release of the first 13 Israeli hostages, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says, “We have now completed the return of the first of our hostage — Children, their mothers and other women. Each and every one of them is an entire world.”

Each and every one of them is an entire world.

Operation Heaven's Door.

Wow!
I agree with Mr BN :D

"Each and every one of them is an entire world.”

How true!
As the wise saying goes:
"If you save one life - you save the world entire".

Operation "Heaven's door"
How poetic! :)

(Welcome home, Jimmy!)

Jimmy Pacheco, Filipino caregiver taken hostage on Oct. 7, among those released in Thai deal

Pacheco lived in Nir Oz where he cared for Amitai Ben Zvi, 80.

On that Saturday morning, Jimmy managed to call and tell his friends that he was being kidnapped and Amitai, or Abba, as he called him, had been killed.

Hours later, Amitai Ben Zvi’s family received a video from Jimmy’s family in the Philippines, showing Jimmy handcuffed in a car in Gaza.

Another Hamas video of Jimmy also surfaced on Telegram in which he is surrounded by a shouting crowd.

Not to detract from the joy of the hostages released but a reminder to those who deny the truth and to once again explain the reason we are here for discussion. imo

Background (in my words)
An idiot called in to spew filth and ask a question.
Eylon didn't even have to answer this question as there was another who attested to the atrocities of Hamas on Oct 7, 2023.

"Captive Israeli grandmother, 77, who terrorists claimed was

'killed in Israeli airstrike'

is ALIVE and among the 13 Israeli hostages freed by Hamas in Gaza."

One of the 39 Terrorists who were Released today from Israeli Prisons, Sara Abdullah from Nablus in the West Bank stated following her Release, “I am Proud of Hamas and love Gaza very much, and I’m Proud of Muhammad Daf and Yahya Sinwar, because they are the only ones who stood by us.”

(Lots of Hamas flags in the celebrations)

Celebrations ongoing across the Gaza Strip and the West of Bank for the 39 Palestinian Terrorists who were Released from Israeli Prisons today in an Exchange for the 24 Hostages who are now being Reunited with their Families.
The video with the green flags is very likely the West Bank due to the Red Cross vehicle. Palestinians were released in the West Bank.

A tiger doesn't chance stripes. Pretty much expected.

Oh course hamas wants them to move north. They need a fresh batch of human shields. moo
Time to look to the future while not forgetting the past.

The first priority is to work towards the release of the rest of the hostages and prisoners and get down to serious work to make this temporary break from hostilities a permanent one.

The Palestinians only have two thirds of the very small enclave they were allowed to live in left to them; the North is uninhabitable and the infrastructure of Gaza is broken.

Snip
The former prime minister is urging "all parties to continue to work towards the release of every hostage" after holding talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog during a visit to Israel on Thursday.

He will be in the Occupied Palestinian Territories on Friday, meeting Palestinian leaders and agencies delivering aid in Gaza advocating adherence to the new agreement on all sides.

This ^^^^^^
Is what you get, when you pander to Terrorists. IMO

Hamas—Sorry again because unfortunately you are misinformed -they have said at the beginning it was 1,400 civilian killed then the Israeli’s themselves said no it was not 1400 it was1200 because 200 of them have proven to be Palestineans —do you believe that we will kill our people inside Israel but Hasertz 2 weeks ago have proven that all these people the the 1.200 people including the 200 Palestinians ,I mean our own people were killed by Israeli jets blindly attacking the music festival, this is the hard…

Q: so you[‘re saying Basim, so you’re saying the Israeli jets killed these young people at the music festival-is that what you’re alleging here?

Hamas: Yes, this is not what I said this this is what Israeli media…

RSBM:

This Hamas propoganda keeps circulating; helped out by Haaretz. Here is the geoconfirmed thread debunking claims that the IDF did this despite what Haaretz printed.

GeoConfirmed ISR - PAL Investigation. This claim is viewed over 30 million times."Israel admits Apache helicopters fired on their own civilians running from the Supernova music festival."DISINFORMATION . This whole story is a perfect example how disinformation works.1/X

It got a lot of attention after it was spread by @Partisangirl. But it had already been published 50 mins before by
@Megatron_ron, what we assess as the source for @Partisangirl
