Hamas releases video showing them handing over 17 hostages today to the ICRC within Gaza City. Geolocated the handover location to 31°30'22"N 34°27'42"E

According to footage broadcast by Al-Jazeera, Hamas handed over some of the hostages to the Red Cross in Gaza City. They were then handed over to the IDF in central Gaza and taken into Israel. The footage may indicate the hostages were being held in areas of Gaza City that the IDF had not yet reached.

The daughter of Elma Avraham, 84 years old, who is hospitalized in serious condition after being released from Hamas captivity: The @ICRC ignored us. They refused even take the medicine we brought. International organizations abandoned us

Elma Abraham, 84, is fighting for her life after Hamas freed her "one minute before dying." She arrived with a pulse of 40 & a body temperature of 28 C (82F) & is in a medical coma. "From euphoria to the abyss," daughter Tali says, describing awful encounters with the Red Cross

Just saw on Israeli TV that she is on life support.

Senior Hamas official abroad, Osama Hamdan this morning: "From the first day of the cease-fire, the members of the military wing of Hamas and the mechanisms of the Ministry of Interior in Gaza were looking for abductees in the entire strip. Tonight it will be clear if there are any more abductees found and how many there are, and in light of this we can talk about the chances of extending the truce"

Suspect arrested in shooting of 3 Palestinian college students in Vermont, police say

A suspect has been arrested in the shooting of three Palestinian college students in Burlington, Vermont, in a case that has garnered national attention amid concerns about rising levels of hate crimes since the Israel-Hamas war erupted.

Jason J. Eaton, 48, was arrested Sunday afternoon near the scene of the attack, the Burlington Police Department said in a news release. Authorities said Eaton lives in an apartment building in front of the shooting scene and a search of his home uncovered evidence that gave investigators “probable cause to believe that Mr. Eaton perpetrated the shooting.”

Officials have not detailed what charges Eaton is facing, but a police statement announcing his arrest described the case as three incidents of aggravated assault. He is expected to be arraigned in court on Monday. Police are also planning to hold a news conference Monday to discuss the case. CNN has been unable to determine if Eaton has an attorney.

The US Attorney’s Office for the District of Vermont and other authorities are investigating whether the shooting may have been a hate crime, officials said.

The negotiations regarding the list of the next freed people as part of the release plan for the abductees continues. We are aware of the stress that families are under, and we will add information when it becomes possible. We ask to avoid spreading rumors and unreliable information

"Israel and Hamas are close to agreeing an extension to Gaza truce which has just hours left to run:

Terror group want another four days

but Israelis prefer 'day-by-day deal'."

According to reports, the pair hid in a freezer for several hours, before being rescued.

The terrorists, meanwhile, are seen looting the gas station’s store, before escaping to continue their brutal attacks.

"In Gaza, there are no citizens who oppose Hamas. If necessary, they will murder Jews, Christians, and even Muslims," Dor Shachar, 46, said in an interview with Maariv. Born in Khan Yunis, in the Gaza Strip, as Ayman Abu Suboh, who escaped to Israel, converted, and now lives in Rishon LeZion.

According to Shachar, "In Gaza, they are affiliated with organizations like Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Fatah, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine [PFLP], and others. All these organizations support the killing of Jews. Some of these organizations have infiltrated the Gaza Strip. This is a religious war; they want to take over the entire world."

[...]

Shachar, who has also written a book about his life, "From Khan Yunis to Mount Sinai," and lectures about it, was not surprised by the level of cruelty that Hamas militants reached on October 7. "When I was a child and went to the market with my mother, I saw that they beheaded those who claimed to have collaborated with Israelis. They cut off their heads and hands, and hung them on electricity poles, dragging them on the road while they were attached to cars. I was not surprised at all," he said, adding that there aren't many peace-loving people in Gaza. "Most of them no longer live there but emigrated to other countries.”

Shachar shared that he remembers that his grandfather used to tell him when he was a child that when he grew up, “I would have to kill Jews and reclaim Jaffa because it is our inheritance. It's a matter of generations being raised like this."

4th hostage release held up, as Hamas seeking to again separate mothers from children — official

One of the main issues dragging out talks over the release of the fourth batch of Israeli hostages later today is that the list of names Hamas said it plans to release would separate several children from their mothers, an Israeli official tells The Times of Israel.

Israel says the truce with Hamas bars the terror group from separating mothers from their children — something that it has already done once earlier in the temporary ceasefire.

Report: Israel still ‘cautiously optimistic’ fourth group of hostages will be released later today

Amid an apparent delay in the release of the fourth group of hostages due to what Israel says is Hamas’s effort to violate the deal by releasing children without their mothers, an Israeli official tells the Walla news site that he is “cautiously optimistic” the crisis will be solved.
