Nearly 50% of the population of Gaza and Western Bank is under the age of 18.
Yeah I'm getting tired of the argument that most Palestinians want Hamas to lead them since they were elected in 2006. Seventeen years ago.
1. More than 50% of Palestinians did NOT vote for Hamas.
2. If nearly 50% of Palestinians were under 18 back in 2006 too then the majority of those are adults now and we have no idea what they'd vote for since they haven't been given a chance.

“Terrorism derives from hope — a hope to weaken us,” Smotrich argued. “The statement that the Arab yearning for national expression in the Land of Israel cannot be ‘repressed’ is incorrect.”

Doing this, he continued, begins by annexing the West Bank and rapidly expanding Jewish settlements there. Once Israel has declared its intention to never let that land go, and created realities on the ground that make its withdrawal unimaginable, the Palestinians will reconcile themselves to the new reality — accept a second-class form of citizenship, leave voluntarily, or attempt violent resistance and be crushed.”

Netanyahu is the architect of the inevitable and they are proceeding with their plan to “crush” the Palestinians.
I will never support the eradication of millions of people. He actually used the word “genocide” and I refuse to ignore that statement.

Also tiring to watch the world neglect what Israel is really up against. Yet, Hamas has ensured their 'education'. That too must change; this indoctrination of 'innocent' children is not acceptable (and at a Palestinian UN school at that // the tweeter got the location wrong though as it's Palestinian children in the West Bank being interviewed) ... and should be criminal. Here's a little bit of what Israel is up against now (when your enemy has sworn they will not stop until you - as a human being - have ceased to exist) - and in the future (because children are representative of the future):

As one would expect, they’ve divided up the hostages into numerous groups. Can’t put all your human shield hostages in one basket.

Hamas Al-Qassam have issued a statement that 13 hostages including internationals were killed in IDF airstrikes in the past 24 hours, 6 of them were killed in the North in two separate places, and 7 in Gaza City in 3 different places.

Free and fair elections are important for the survival of peace and democracy in all countries. These are scary times in the world. It probably sounds old fashioned to some, but those freedoms are threatened in many countries.

Snipped for focus -- Maybe they should have used the billions of dollars of aid to protect themselves, instead of brutally attacking their neighbors!

Absolutely appalled by this victim-mentality from Gaza, and the worldwide antisemitism victim-blaming against Israel.

I'm sorry, at this point I struggle to see how the Gaza citizens aren't complicit in this. Even the children were stomping on mutilated corpses and celebrating.

I pray all the innocents and peaceful are protected and provided for, the hostages rescued, and terrorists obliterated.
Propaganda pure and simple and people are eating it up.

I mean it's just horrible the people of Gaza are so scared and confused now when just days ago they were laughing and dancing in the street. /S/

Propaganda is not limited to one side.
Generally speaking, anyone, who can take such a complex situations as the israel-palestine situation and paint it black and white, into good guys and bad guys, is not a trustworthy source.
Hamas beheading babies gives no rights to the Israeli government to commit war crimes against Palestinian civilians. Just like all the Russian war crimes gave no rights to Ukraine to start committing war crimes themselves (and I'd say that Ukraine has managed to comply with that relatively well).

What war crimes has Israel committed again?

It has to be said, Palestinians are grown ups. The choices they make for themselves and their children are on them.

"A diplomat at Israel’s embassy in China has been injured in an apparent stabbing in Beijing."

The diplomat survived being attacked on the sidewalk and is now in the hospital.

We are pulling Aussie civilians out of Israel, while simultaneously sending Aussie/Israeli specialist reservists into Israel to help their efforts.

Some reservists were sent earlier this week, and more are going there with the repatriation flights while citizen Aussies will come home on those flights.

The reservists appear to be dual citizens and have been called back to fight for Israel.
One of them said that this is the largest draft in Israeli history, over 300,000 reservists have been called up in the last few days across Israel and the world.

I find it interesting that it is it only the grown, healthy-looking men trying to escape:

It is obvious Hamas is using Palestinian women and children as pawns to deceptively paint Israel a certain way. Like ISIS, they hide weapons and fire missiles from hospitals and schools, using civilians as human shields.

I do not believe Israel has committed any war crimes. They have consistently given warnings and publicized their intent. They have been pursuing a peaceful compromise without jeopardizing their existence since the state was established. This article from October 1988 is really insightful to how they've walked a line of compromising with hostile people:

Israel’s Political Abyss: Self-Reliance vs. Moralism

"A teacher was killed in a knife attack in a school in the northern France city of Arras on Friday...Police cold not confirm media reports that the assailant had shouted 'Allahu Akbar'."

Let’s just hope this is both the beginning and the end, and the worst doesn’t happen with today’s threat.

I wonder if the unnamed school is a religious school of some kind?
