Re: the name that JLM used: George Carr - someone asked (can't find it now) whether there was any significance to the article about George Carr that had so many Fall dates.
If so, perhaps JLM used the Carr name is a hint that he has hidden the bodies on the old Carr lands as an act of vengeance. Cassandra Morton was left on Liberty University property. That points to JLM and it points to a vengeful spirit.

I do not know about UVA, but to get into the top nursing program where I am from, you HAVE to have straight A's in your prerequisites or you will not qualify.

I'm a nursing student and it's not as easy as people think it is. You have to have good grades for them to even let you in. Nursing school is a big deal all on it's own even if you aren't pre-med it's hard even still.
Edited to add that where I live you have to pass a test to be let in and there are a ton of pre-requisites that must be completed before hand.

Not able to find it, sorry. Thought I posted somewhere when I heard it. They had the gentleman whose phone he borrowed at a service station, I think off Rt. 10, on audio interview. He stated the Jesse borrowed his phone, had a brief (i'm not sure but he qualified as excited or angry) convo with his dad and returned his phone. Then the lawyer and the Dad kept calling his phone trying to reach Jesse to no avail. My impression was that it was at night. I'll keep looking for it. Sorry.

Maybe they offered a trove of evidence, like dna on the shorts and fibers on the victims? jmo.

I think you're very right that people have unintentionally "enabled" him for a long time- and in many different capacities. But I think what most of the "he didn't know boundaries" type remarks we're reading (that may seem like defending him) are actually more indicative of the shock so many people who knew him are having that he's been implicated in so many of these horrific cases. As opposed to giving him a pass.

JM was apparently such the antithesis of the person he's revealing himself to be, that I think people are trying to look back and explain their own perceptions of those more unusual behaviors at the time. JMO.

The women told him off in no uncertain terms. Anyone should be able to get the idea that this approach does not work.

It may work if he is a famous athlete or movie star who makes millions of dollars a year, but he doesn't have that cash to offer

My original comment was not meant to disparage nursing as a career. But is is very unlikely that HG as 2nd year undergraduate was a nursing student. UVA doesn't have an undergraduate nursing program-- the only thing they offer is a masters.

32 yr old hanging out with 19 year olds.

The last picture, before he ran, he was 300lbs, imo. He had an inherent advantage when drinking, too.

That's exactly what I have been saying. Think back to your high school experience. Everyone knew that guy (and girl) who would have been super obnoxious but because of their popularity the behavior was encouraged and got the desired effect. Many of those people as adults continue acting the same way because they never learned not to, except when you are in your 30s and not rich nor a celebrity (no longer "popular" it's as annoying as it really was all along and even more creepy because you are so old.

And tons of men live in a state of arrested development hanging out with women way too young for them because they cannot or will not settle down and then as they age they find same aged women too old. That's why so many women keep pointing out that those creepy "old" overly touchy men aren't that unusual to encounter every weekend. Most of them are harmless, just annoying. Unfortunately for Hannah, LJM wasn't. But his creepy bar behavior alone is not really that big of a red flag.

Then JWs father in an interview that JW gave HG a ride and dropped her off somewhere.
