I had a dream that I slept on Travis's grave and held a memorial for him after. Odd dream. His grave was exactly like it is in the pics.

One thing Jodi Arias actually did succeed at during her pitiful life has been stalking and hacking. She put her skills to use for evil. And she will pay the price.

It is just mind-boggling that with all her efforts to not be detected in AZ she would deliberately reverse the plates. Perhaps I just witness too many traffic stops going to and coming from work that I cannot believe there were no Highway Patrol in AZ who would have caught it.

Does anyone know a link for the video where Jodi is laying her head on Travis' lap and Travis is talking to his friends? I have heard a lot about it but can't find it anywhere.
 
Any guesses on what other subject the doc will READ to us, since Juan WILL get the type of murder scene determination thrown out?
Will he go into her past abuse allegations and tell us what that supposedly did to her mind, or will he leave that for Alyce La V ???

In any event, she must have replaced both California plates on the car before returning the vehicle. Where did she get the screws with which to reattach the front plate if the "skaters" took off the front plate ?

Don't you know? Those thoughtful skater dudes who were just playing a little prank on this random girl at Starbucks left the screws behind for her.

OK, maybe "alibi" was the wrong word since yes, Ryan would be seeing her.

But being pulled over would establish a hard timeline for her. I guess that's my point.

I cannot imagine ANYONE on a murderous rampage as she was purposely doing ANYTHING to a license plate that can get you pulled over for that EXACT thing. Not "well I saw you swerving and your license plate is upside down" but "I pulled you over because your license plate is upside down".

And I guess I am not understanding the upside down to avoid detection? Are the cameras incapable of generating a picture if it's upside down? Not sure I am buying that since yes the camera may be incapable of figuring it out but human eyes sure as hell wouldn't if someone went looking.

Another thing I am not understanding...why would she need to swap plates out at all? I mean, a rental car is a rental car, and no one knows who is driving it so neighbors/friends couldn't report that. And a CA plate in AZ is not a stretch nor would it cause any red flags for anyone.

My "big picture" theory about this case is that she watched so many movies, and thought she was planning the "perfect crime" and took bits and pieces from all those movies to make her plan. And in some movie she saw some killer use license plates to make something happen. In real life, IMO, any fooling with the license plate that is a universal symbol and alwyas the same...it's just DUMB and makes no sense to me what so ever!

April 2008 - Burns testified that he first met Arias at a PrePaid Legal convention in Oklahoma in April 2008. A few weeks after that initial meeting, Burns and Arias were chatting on the phone three to five times a week.

[Added by AS] April 20, 2008 - Alexander, according to prosecutors, sent this text to Arias: "I am at a night club right now and it helped me to come to the conclusion that you are one of the prettiest girls on the planet."

April 2008 - Another text conversation that was examined in court took place after Arias moved from Arizona to California. During that conversation, Alexander told Arias to not contact him and warned her that things could get "real bad for her."
"Bitter feelings brewing in me towards you," Alexander wrote in an April 2008 text message to Arias. "I'm sick of having days ruined by you. If it keeps up, I fear I'll have a genuine dislike for you. I'm asking you before it gets to that, to stop doing it, before I start seeking revenge."

May 03, 2008 – Ryan Burns and Arias exchange numerous flirtatious emails including conversations about her visiting him soon and her not playing hard to get.

May 10, 2008 - Arias posted the last entry to her online blog. It reads, in part: "I cannot ignore that there is an ever-present yearning and desire that pulses within me. It throbs for gratification and fulfillment."
That same day, according to prosecutors, Alexander sent this text to Arias: "Why don't you have him come and f--k you in the woods, I can only imagine you are so worried about me reading. You are paranoid because you have no respect for people privacy and you dare insult me of all people. Someone you should through your actions you hate more than love by denying me a human right of privacy countless times. You have a lot of freaking nerve. We are all not like you in that aspect."

May 18, 2008 - Alexander posted the last entry, titled "Why I want to marry a Gold Digger," to his online blog. It reads, in part: "I did a little soul searching and realized that I was lonely ... I realized it was time to adjust my priorities and date with marriage in mind ... This type of dating to me is like a very long job interview and can be exponentially more mentally taxing. Desperately trying to find out if my date has an axe murderer penned up inside of her."

May 28, 2008 - Yreka, California, police officer Kevin Friedman investigated a robbery (reported theft of a .25 caliber gun, $30 in cash, a stereo and a DVD player ) at the house of Arias’ grandparents on May 28, 2008, just a few days before Alexander was killed.

May 28, 2008 - Ryan Burns testified that towards the end of May 2008, he and Arias had made plans for her to visit his home in West Jordan, Utah.

June 2008 - During the first week of June, Alexander told friends that he suspected Arias had hacked into his Facebook account. He allegedly said that he told her to stay out of his life forever.

June 2, 2008 - Arias, according to police, picked up a vehicle from Budget Rent-a-Car in Redding, Calif.

Maybe she took the bottom two screws off the other plate and just had 2 screws in each plate.
 
OH, and to add one more thing about the fooling with the license plates.

Putting on one that didn't belong to the car is seriously even dumber than turning it upside down.

Let's say she accidentally got pulled over for not using her blinker or because a cop thought she was cute and wanted an excuse or any other number of reasons people can be pulled over even while being very careful.

You get caught with license plates that don't belong to that car? AUTO trip downtown to answer more questions.

You get pulled over for not using your blinker, chances are you are walking with a ticket and nothing more. Yes, your plan to be undetected is foiled but you aren't in jail with murder weapons in your car!

Here's another little piece of the Starbucks ARCO puzzle ... the time on the Starbucks receipt is 8:41 PM and the 1st ARCO transaction is at 8:42 PM. Arias would have needed to leave Starbucks and somehow cross the intersection at E.Foothill Road to get to the ARCO on the other side of the street. Most likely she would have driven down along the wall in front of the Whole Foods and then made a right back onto E. Foothill Blvd and then proceeded to the traffic light. A U-turn would have been required to access the ARCO on the other side of E.Foothill at 3706.

I find it hard to believe that she got in her car at Starbucks, started to back out, saw the license plate, got out, looked at the plate, took the plate back and threw it in her car, and then proceeded to ARCO, and activated the gas pump in ONE MINUTE !!!

I agree with Corundogs. I wouldn't think she would want the plates on upside down anywhere before getting on her alibied route. Ryan was an alibi but a ticket would be solid and would leave no chance for Ryan's possible memory lapse of when she was there.

I always look at plates to see if they are vanity. Doing that in Arizona would have been insane, IMOO.
