I don't think it's been established seeing they'd have to rely on Jodi to explain it. But dissecting the note from a third party----it appears Jodi was making up lies and claiming someone had some 'non-flattering' information about him. And it seems he was demanding to know who this was although it also appears he sees right through her by this point. He knows she lies.


Fast-forward: I don't believe he and Jodi had sex on June 6th. I don't care HOW horny you make this 30-year old, I just don't believe he would've done that with her.
I think she caught him totally by surprise (around noon) that day. Came unannounced, uninvited and somehow, for some reason, staged those 'bed scene' photos.

Because we all know that in between the litany of lies, she expels the truth some times.
I recall when she was being interviewed by Flores, she was saying things like "are you sure that was me in the photos" and....."they could've been from another time". Something along those lines.

I don't know. I don't have all the answers (nor theories) down packed but I know what my intuition naturally rejects and Travis having sex with this '3 hole wonder' is one of them because it's highly unlikely.

I don't know why she would have "staged" the photos-help me understand. She wasn't even supposed to be there. Do you think she staged them "just in case" she was found out? But than she deleted the photos? I seriously don't think she ever wanted any of those photos seen. I still don't know why she didn't take the camera unless it was just the mistake of having it picked up with the sheets and thrown in the wash. And according to the pictures they didn't use the sheets. Where was the bedspread? Was that still there after she left? That would have her dna on it for sure. :banghead:

Why would they all be at the Riverside location? That doesn't make sense to me. Didn't the Medfords say they were in a group of about 20? There is a Mimi's Cafe in Mesa, Arizona. According to trial testimony, Jodi worked at Mimi's Cafe on January 20, 2008 before going to TA's house.



Because I trust Detective Flores' skill and expertise.

ETA: They can tell where JA likely slashed his throat due too all the blood pooled in that location. IMO in the 76 seconds between the naked dragging pic and the final dragging pic she had to have gotten a sheet to wrap his body in so she could drag him more easily. He's clearly in a sheet in that last photo. And no, I doubt she ever screamed or anything of the kind. She was devilishly cool, calm and collected the entire time. MOO

Did I miss something? Did Detective Flores say that she likely showered off in the shower with TA? Did he say it wasn't possible that she used the bathtub? If so, where can I read this because I completely missed it!

Those blood streaks could have been left after she showered when she put him back in shower. Just a thought.

Thanks for mentioning a nap at her sister's. I have been wondering why it took her to get to Lodi (isn't that where she stopped at McDonalds)? If so, it is only a 3 hour drive from here. Maybe I need to find out where she stopped, but wasn't it around 5:00 PM?

I don't know if the time on CC receipts is set by the merchant's computer or the processing company but either way there could be discrepancies. There are tons of processing firms out there that merchant's contract with to handle their CC transactions.

We keep talking about the time on the Starbucks receipt but there is never a link to be able to see it. Does someone have a link to the Starbucks receipt?

I don't think it existed--it is another red herring, it allows her to say she was bloody when she came to, she wasn't, she showered or washed up or something at Travis'. If she admits to this or even to not being bloody when she came to, it means she will have to acknowledge she showered etc., which doesn't really support her "fog" claim. How can you be in a fog and shower off the blood, and basically wipe the place of prints and blood. Not really "in a fog" behavior. So she has to say she was bloody, and washed off with water. Another lie from a lying liar.

Yep- There was no Costco water or bloody hands. Just part of her convenient fog story.

But if he was in that position (i.e. head towards the bedroom, foot towards the bathroom), and Jodi is standing behind his head, how does that fit into the sequence of events?
IIRC, one of the theories on the foot picture was that it showed Jodi at some point during the process of dragging Travis back towards the shower, especially since it seems like his right arm is lifted.

If Travis is lying the other way around, and Jodi is standing between his body and the bedroom facing the bathroom, the position doesn't really fit the sequence of events. She should be behind him if she is indeed dragging him, and if his position was with his head towards the bedroom then it would make no sense that she's standing by his head.

I'm confused now, maybe I need to mull this over some more in my head and go over the testimony again.

If he is incapacitated she has to turn him around which is evident in the blood trails and the blood smear on the hall wall where his is turned around.. the photo of her foot is before his body it turned head back towards the bathroom.. there are blood trials on both sides of the hall..

I read that Jodi had referred to him as a chimney and a drinker but I wasn't sure when. So she actually said that during her testimony? How did that even come up?

I think Daryl was less than forthcoming not so much that he was/is afraid of Jodi (after all, she's locked up) but trying to avoid knowing too much about the gas cans.

He sorta had that Jodi-fog roll in about the time he was being questioned about the can exchange. The less he pretended not to know, the less specific the questions remained. Or so it appeared. Now here's what I think.

Remember that one gasoline stop where she filled up (supposedly) 4 items?
She clearly put around 12 gallons into the car then another 10 gallons (5-gallons for each gas can)? So that's three receptacles that weren't disputed. But then there was that weird 2.50+ gallon purchase that just didn't fit into any theory?

Well, if Daryl gave Jodi the two gas cans and one of them was partially full then....she wouldn't need an entire 5 gallons to top that one container off.

So I think that's how that odd purchase can possibly be explained. But no one asked Daryl if he gave her empty or filled gas cans (that I can recall anyway) and I think that's why Daryl played 'fog' out.

You are right. They were not staged. As you point out, she did NOT want those photos seen and was shocked that they were. Her entire plan was to appear as though she was never in AZ.

At one point in JA's testimony she mentioned she confided in her friend Rachel that she and TA had "gone too far" according to the church standards and Rachel told her to "drive straight to the bishop and confess and be sure to wear your seatbelt because if you die in a crash before you confess you will go to hell" or something like that. Maybe JA coaxed TA into sex on June 4th and then made sure to kill him before he could confess so in her mind he would go to hell. I think one of his friends (maybe Chris Hughes?) or his brothers wrote about this at one point.

Someone posted another good point awhile back about his camera bag being found in the large media room outside of his bedroom - kinda hidden behind one of the Luv Sacs. What the heck is it doing way out there? Is that where she hid while waiting for him to get home..

JM didn't talk much about the naked photos. Other than pointing out there was no rope in any of them, he questioned the camera expert about the color of the KY gel cap being blue. He pointed that out in two different pics.

She must feel he's on to something because now all of the sudden, she pulls another camera out of her purse! kinda like the holster.

I'm looking at the pics again, the one with her on the bed and the one with him on the bed. Those look like two different KY bottles to me on two different days!

If TA thought she was a scamming evil sociopath, he might try to appease her by having sex, but would he really participate in photographing it all? Most of us have already speculated that somehow she told him that she'd taped him on the sex tape so, why would he willingly allow her to photograph them. He doesn't look at all like a willing and excited participant in the two pics of him...These pictures just don't add up.
