This is absolutely terrible for the family to be holding court this way, why did they not select a Judge who was not so bogged down with duties? (That) Florida trial was bam, bam, bam. Also tough on the jurors,BUT COME ON more on the poor family..

It really is strange the short court days. Basically about 4 hrs per day, one dark day per week and many short days. Those days will seem even shorter once Juan gets a hold of her.

I just mean on another forum outside Websleuths. I left another forum years ago (they know who they are) after being sliced and diced in the Political forum and I got a message that someone was reading my updates there. That is NOT with my permission in case anyone is reading.

This may not be a popular answer but what is good for the goose is also good for the gander ...if you think about it....how many things are lifted here from Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, etc etc etc if you put it out there, chances are it will be re-posted.

Per February 18 People Magazine: "On MySpace Arias (in an undated modeling shot) describes herself as 'tolerant, kind, compassionate, loving'"

This appears next to a pic of her "modeling" ???

I'm not reposting comments here that indicate they are without the permission of the writer.

With that being said, I suspect they will continue doing it. I'm not condoning my posts being lifted without my permission but I'm not gonna sweat about it either. Just calling it out is all.

Apparently that career didn't pan out either :floorlaugh: She is so delusional :banghead:

Here is a weird coincidence.

An episode of Law & Order this morning was about a pedophile killed with a knife by a young woman who claimed he raped her when she was 12.

There was a TV show like the one that lures the pedos and films them. They put ads out trying to find victims, and setting them up to meet their abusers so they could film it.

The murderer said the show's producer had her take lessons in Kosen Judo (? some type of marital arts), bought her the knife to take to supposedly protect herself, and gave her a camera to record what happened.

So many similar themes, maybe that is where Jodi got some of her 'story'.

I wonder if that jail lets inmates watch TBS, aka the Law & Order channel?

Eerily that seems to a superficial first impression she's cultivated. Once most people scratched that surface though its pretty hollow after that.

Didn't she live with Darryl for four years and she is trying to tell us she did not know what "premartial" sex was. She'd been doing it for years and from the sound of it every way that is possible. jmo

She also said she moved in with Bobby Juarez when she quit high school.

I was caught up on the Arias discussion before turning off the computer last night to spend some quality time with DH. This morning, I noticed that the thread where I left off last evening has closed, and another is already multiple pages long. I'll do my best to catch up.

Many thanks :tyou: to our fabulous moderators who monitor the threads diligently, keep the discussion on topic, and remind us of the forum rules when necessary. I appreciate their fine efforts, :blowkiss: and I'm sure my good colleagues here at Websleuths do, as well.

:yourock:

I dont know but I do know Sheriff Joe really restricts what inmates watch.

Since we're still on direct, what are some questions you'd like to hear Nurmi still ask her? Aka doors yet to open for Boy Juander to come thrashing through?

I want to hear her fairytale about the hair color, why she purchased it, what she did with it, if she dyed her hair- where when and why? ( knowing of course shell blame it on Travis- ugh- let the jury see that though).

Why. I think its juans turn?

Wow. I am impressed! My husband knows what you are talking about as I don't. Close quarter fighting?

yes. I work on airplanes and we are offered this training since 911. You can take seminars without signing up for months worth of classes.

I also suggest concealed carry if you state allows it. Nothing makes me feel safer in my home than knowing I have my trusty Glock near. not to mention it is a super fun hobby! evaded to the range in a few hours.

For some reason the quoting is messed up. That post is a quote from Xavier, not Puzzler's words. imo

I went back and fixed several broken quotes ... Please alert if any were missed...

Isnt it just two channels they get to watch? One is a religious channel and the other CSpan or maybe its opera music.

He doesnt coddle them that is for sure.

IMO

MOO opera music would be good for them. :)

It may be the perpetual "Pollyanna" in me, but even though I'm sure Martinez fought valiantly to keep this drivel out of the trial, he has had warning for quite a while that this might happen.

I imagine him spending lots of time making a detailed outline of his cross examination, including every possible question he would like to ask along with evidence to firm them up.

Will he ask his questions "scattershot" and aimed at the lies, or will he slowly draw JA into her web of lies and trap her in them?

I have far more than a sneaking suspicion that Det. Flores and his staff are doing a lot of digging into records to help in his quest for justice.

Nurmi may try to ambush him, but Martinez thinks way to far ahead for that.

I always get nervous during the defense case. In this one, I am literally sick to my stomach. But, I have to remember that the prosecution always goes last.

ETA: Any time the jury gets lulled into believing the delicate defendant, one quick flash of an autopsy picture should jolt them back to reality.

I'm think Juan will keep it short. Hit her with what he knows are lies from her testimony and can be proven and just focus on her arriving at TA's home and what led up to the killing. I can't see him rehashing her whole life, only those portions he can discredit her with because he may have prior testimony from witnesses that prove she is wrong. I don't see anything that dramatic in her life for her to make a decision to slaughter someone. What I do see is someone who was very ambitious jumping from one relationship into another because it was a chance for her to obtain her goals. Each relationship served a purpose for her to get ahead. Even she admits love was not always an issue for her.

I think, too, it's obvious Jodi's anger arose from what Travis was telling his friends about her and she may have viewed it as he was attempting to ruin her reputation. Her chances to land a big fish, so to speak. The email he sent her confirmed it in her mind.

I also think that those "friends of Travis" who told her to stay away from him were trying to help him out, trying to help him get rid of her. I think that is pretty obvious. Similiar to the friends who came into the restaurant to tell her Matt was cheating on her. Funny, too, how these friends don't have names. jmo
