I had this dream.... it was almost like I was in the courtroom. The family member of one of the victims of JDahmler was going off and was being restrained. Then I woke up, it was so real. I imagine that is how it feels inside, for Travis' friends and family. Very sad, very tragic.

Speaking of Dahmer, has anyone read his father's book (A Father's Story, by Lionel Dahmer)? What a great read!! His father basically feels guilty and tries to relive everything about Jeffrey's childhood to figure out where he went wrong while raising Jeffrey!! Sure doesn't seem JA's mother takes any blame or wonders what she could have done differently. The way she wears her #1 MOM necklace and is able to sit there with a smirk is just another part of this trial that sickens me. Guess lack of remorse runs in the family.

ETA: It depends on the purpose it is being offered. If it's the state trying to get the information in through it's own expert, it will almost certainly be excluded. If the state plans to cross examine the defense expert to elicit SARA information and assessments made by the defense expert, then it might be allowed for purposes of challenging the defense expert's conclusions.

One more question. So, if it is ruled excluded, does that mean it is out altogether or can the state somehow use it to challenge the defense expert's conclusions? So glad we have you on here.

This is a pencil and paper test for the person being evaluated by a Psychologist who has training in administering tests. The actual questionaire must be purchsed by a licensed professional for administering to clients in their practice.

The professional then scores the test and uses that information (with other objective data) to make a more informed evaluation of the client's propensity toward spousal abuse in the future.
