IMO HLN often rips verbatim from here and never gives credit. So yeah... The producers read here.

Which is why, in my opinion, psychopaths specifically target those whom are somehow vulnerable - whether that be by age, immaturity, sheltered nature, etc.
Except that Gus Searcy says that JA called him sobbing about Travis being dead the morning of June 5, so he asked her if she needed a ride. [With apologies to Manfred Mann's Earth Band, ref. "Blinded By The Light"]
Are you and I the primary users of the term "murderess" on this forum?
The absolute backbone of the Wiccan faith is this: 'An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will'. Many who practice wicca warn against ever harming others because there is a deep-seated belief what you put out into the universe comes back onto you. Karma, divine retribution, kismet.
It is by far, one of the most beautiful and peaceful spiritual concepts known. I can assure you fewer wars have been fought in its name as well. It's roots are deeply buried in nature - a belief that we, as humans, can find balance and harmony in the world surrounding us...but we must also be careful to protect it as well.Evil, hatred, bloodshed, and rage do not find their roots in wicca. Those are blights upon society entrenched much deeper than any spirituality. As far as 'spellcasting' goes, which some wiccans practice, while others do not - I see that as very much an enhanced form of positive thinking. Some folks use a dream board - some wiccans use rocks, flowers, incense, etc. related to certain natural properties (e.g. water, fire, earth, air).
HTH to alleviate a few misconceptions.
No, Jodi admits to the Detective that once she was in Arizona and near his home, she called him. He picked up and she said "Surprise! guess where I am?"
she said he said "huh? what...where?"
and she said "I'm in Arizona I'm almost at your house!"
And she said that it went silent for a bit.
Uh ya. He saw his life pass before his eyes and unfortunately he should have refused to let her in. The part she might be lying about is, she never called him but just showed up, came through the garage and went upstairs to his room expecting to find him with Mimi who he was going to Cancun with and she planned to kill them BOTH.
But much to her surprise, found only Travis.. Asleep.. and woke him up
Listening to the radio show and it's very good.

I think JA is going to tell Nurmi the gun was brought per TA's direction (he even suggested to "borrow" it from grandparents) to have as part of their role play sex. JA is already leading up to it with the french maid costume, spiderman undies, and red robin hood. She MUST come up with a plausible story about how the gun was already there (because if she doesn't it screams premeditation). He brought up knives from his kitchen to go along with this role play. They tied each other up (she will make up a story about where the rope is) and then they got into an argument, and then some other BS. That's the only reason she could have had weapons nearby.
Then factor in how he was screaming at her and she started to retreat back to 7 years old with her parents and then he started to attack her and she grabbed the gun and knife. She didn't mean to kill him. She was scared and then fled.
I tuned out when the woman said "she was used, but a willing participant" :what:
Looks like "Ideas" to me ...

Aha! DAWG -- You've hit upon it!! To watch or not to watch... Those of us who are able to watch it all day long (which really is only from 10:30 -- 3:30MST or something like that with about 1.5 hrs for lunch plus watching IS or HLN as well) do watch it & then we wonder, "Why? That was 6 hours of my life I'll never get back. What an idiot I am!" Or at least I do -- when JA is on the stand, that is. <gag>
It's like baking a pan of brownies and you eat the whole batch, or nearly, and then realize you're gonna gain about 70 lbs because you did. "Why did I make that dayam batch of brownies -- now look what I've done." But I must say that eating a pan of brownies is much better -- scroo the weight gain -- than watching Nurmi and Jodi go at it for days & daze & days & daze & days. But we will be rewarded -- our Juanderful Prosecutor will have her all to himself sooner or later.
So your work -- and here's hoping you enjoy it, DEPUTY, is not such a bad alternative -- but you really must record Juan's cross, that is if we get to it before the world comes to an end.
In reference to Jodi ?
Yes, her exact quote was... "I think she was used, not abused, but a willing participant.
There's no way you can be used if you are a willing participant. IMO
I can see her crying! Shivering! Visualizing her doing the chihuahua jerk
Witchcraft? Seriously?
I just think she's a regular old psychopath

AhHa! Thank you so much for catching that! :blushing: Maybe that's at least one little thing I'll stop obsessing over! There seems to be no end of questions in my mind that I'm sure we'll never really know for sure about. I've gotta say tho, there are so many brilliant minds at work on this site, & I'm constantly amazed at how very many details come up that I was totally unaware of. Seriously, HLN should have a websleuth segment! I learn so much more here with some of the best detective work & more logical theroies as any of their shows! I also appreciate the way we can interject & correct eachother without an attitude & before someone picks up that ball & rolls with it! I see that happen WAY too often on there for me to be comfortable! I'm gonna try to take a break from commenting till Tues & just read some more! :seeya:
