YESSSSSS.

So these texts show she lied about him taking $ from her---it was just the opposite.

And she worked until 5, so she didn't go over and move Christmas boxes, hang out, forget her porcelain angel and come back, catch him pleasuring himself to lil boy pix, freak out, drive away and go home and throw up and cry and cry and get a barrage of calls from him begging for forgiveness.

Once the jury knows for sure that ALL of that was total fabrication, they will be pissed. I hope there are a lot of men picked for the jury. How angry are they going to be knowing she falsely accused this poor guy like that, after slaughtering him.

Christmas decorations and "masturbatory conduct" was the day before this.

It's still fabrication....

Good Morning my fellow Sleuthers!!!!! I wonder what kind of lies JA will bring to the stand today.
I'm looking forward to our dear Juan doing his AWESOME job!!!!!!!!

Anxious for JM to get stuck in to Jodi again today.wonder how she will appear afrer 3 long days of Juan wearing down each and every one of her lies. :D

One can only hope that she keeps up her "back chat" and rude replies because imo shes cooking her own goose with those. Not such a meek little mouse against the big bad Juan.

She infuriates me more than anyone i havr ever encountered

She drove to Salinas to get her nails done, but it "took a long time". She stated that she would have to get on the highway in Salinas anyway, but she didn't get on the highway. She drove back to Darryl's house to return a remote? How did she wander off his one of Darryl's remotes when she only went there to permanently borrow his gas cans?

Garage door opener is what they call them around here. It drove me nuts as well, remote? I thought. So If I got it right it was the garage door opener that she had to return. I hope I got it right.

Good morning all! Get your chores done, get your stash of goodies to munch on and sit back and enjoy the cross today!I practically wished away my weekend waiting for today! Got my iced coffee, pizza and fudge for later.

I've followed quite a few cases and I've never wanted a defendant to be found guilty as badly as I do now. I've never come across such a gruesome murder by someone so completely evil.

I can't wait for cross to start today!!!

I think what bothers me the most about this whole case is that she shows absolutely no remorse. None at all.

In her 48 hours interview she even talked about how her life was ruined, what did she have to gain from killing Travis etc.

She wasn't talking about how sad she was for him or his family.

But I guess that doesn't fit in with her self defense theory. In her mind she was "forced" to do it.

Disgusting.

Pizza and fudge.......Everybody let's head to Rose's house :great:
Just in case I can't make it.....I'll be at work listening with my earbuds at work. :)

Yes, no different than Casey Anthony.

BBM So, are you saying there never was a porcelain angel? The whole story is hinged on that angel. Does she just throw angels into her stories for believeablity? Yep, big liar.

Oh yeah, if the whole story is a fabrication, the jury is going to be furious she made up that entire pedophile story. Extra lying is just too much, and she will get the DP for such a lie about Travis.

Excited about this week. See you in the morning! :eek:fftobed:
The pedo accusations were a turning point for me. I had previously been hoping for lwop but when it was plain that they were going to smear him to that degree I became comfortable with her getting the dp if the jury sees fit.

I won't lose any sleep over it.

Woah, just caught up from all the weekend posts, things moved so fast no time to even respond! I have enjoyed reading everyone's viewpoint on JMs cross on Thursday. Here is my take:

Juan's first question was DESIGNED especially for the purpose it served. It served to taunt the "monster" from its lair. And it worked. What I saw Thursday was a "thing". That was arrogant, defiant, nasty, sarcastic.......a thing that would have no problem whatever doing the horrific things she did.

I think the cross was pretty masterful, given that it was a "getting to know you" sort of day. I think Juan managed to reveal just what sort of a person we are dealing with. Then, during the afternoon, he developed a "conversational style" with her which allowed her to get pretty chatty and proud of her actions. Cutting her off at the end like he did was perfect!

I am so looking forward to what today will bring.....one thing is for sure, Juan definitely has more in his brown envelope than
that Star Magazine!

Maybe a stupid question but it is about JA's hair color. The car rental guy said it was blonde when she came in. Now after that she went to DB's, and then to TA's, and then to RB's. What was her hair color at all those places. What color was it at TA's? I am so totally confused about her hair.

I think there are enough ladies here that know a little about hair coloring. If your hair is blonde you can easily change it to brown. But, if your hair is brown it is quite a procedure to make it blonde. You don't just color it blonde, it has to be bleached and then colored to brown. So, what color was it when and where? tia

I have dark brown hair and once tried to go blonde and it was a mess! I had to strip it first and in the end it was orange. A cut and professional color was what finally fixed it. This is not something easily done with a box of drugstore hair color IMO.

Travis told his Sunday dinner companion/preacher that if he didn't show up one Sunday that Jodi killed him, and he put on his blog about dating an axe murderer, and- he texted her she was a sociopath, so I agree with Manzana that Travis was aware of Jodi's capacity for craziness, and shouldn't have let his guard down. I would've escorted her out the door, and locked all the doors, even maybe notifying police, then getting all the locks changed, including securing the doggy door.

:twocents:I may be wrong, but I'm thinking that neither you or manzana are 30 year old Mormon virgins. TA did not stand a chance against a master manipulator like JA. I'm just saying, street smarts and the instincts that accompany them are usually the product of life experiences that he never had. I'm not sure if you realize it, but y'all seem to be implying that it's his fault that he was savagely murdered. :twocents:

Can someone explain the car swapping business to me? Why did they swap cars and was this something they did often?

I don't believe anyone feels he was at fault. I think more than anything people are confused why he didn't go to the extreme to shut her out of his life. He knew she was crazy. I did see something somewhere that apparently one of his friends asked him if he wasn't worried that she might hurt him and apparently Travis said he didn't think she would.

Incredibly sad, you're right that unfortunately I don't think he stood a chance. It's a shame that the police didn't follow up the tire slashing incidents.

If these questions have been asked/answered before, please feel free to direct me to those posts. I have read most, but not all, of these threads:

* how does the camera take a photo when seemingly not in anyone's hand? Assuming the camera has a timer...could it be that JA set it to take a photo of her leg/foot and TA's back? Is the theory that the camera was dropped, hit the floor and snapped a photo of the ceiling from impact?

* it is clear that TA was living a double-life of sorts, presenting one face to his friends and to the public and being tragically attracted to JA's manipulation despite her threatening behavior, (that is NOT to say that he in any way deserved to be murdered.) Is it possible that as a psychopath/sociopath JA believed she could murder with impunity, given that she and TA lived in a kind of underground, hidden sexual fantasy world? I've heard/read that the secretive nature of those kind of clandestine affairs can be like a drug to some people - very addicting and may drive one to bizarre behaviors.

* on the basis of the accusation that TA was abusive; I'm aware of the so-called broken finger and the cursing and angry conversations that the two of them supposedly had. I'm afraid that part of it is also JA's assertion that she did not want to participate in certain "deviant" sexual behaviors, but did so to appease TA. Is it the case that TA could be seen as abusive for engaging in what most young people would consider "normal" sexual behavior between consenting adults? I work with 20-somethings, and they know all about the types of sexual activities that JA and TA were enjoying together, (I've read about it in a sexuality advice columns for college age students.)

Not to mention that the accusation didnt exist until a couple of years ago!

I tried to like DB, and did SOME, but stepping down from a management job so you could sleep with a girl just doesn't seem very responsible for someone with a son to support.

Some people will do anything for poprocks. jmo

::nods::: Maybe she had to wait because the house- mate was still there.
Threw her whole plan off by 24 hours.
Ryan was still an alibi and premeditation- and a great witness for the prosecution.

He saw the "real" Jodi just hours after she brutally and cruelly killed TA.
What did he see? two little band aids. No broken nose, bruises, black eyes, ,
just happy- go - lucky lying- con- artist/scammer ( with a six pack) JA.

<<Premeditation can take a number of forms. Sometimes it involves working out the most effective way to kill someone, ranging from selecting a method which is likely to work on the first try to tracking someone's habits in order to pick an opportune moment. Additionally, premeditation can include thinking ahead to try and evade capture. For example, if someone obtains an unregistered gun and uses gloves to handle it, she or he has clearly both planned a murder method and taken steps to avoid capture and thus is planning to commit a premeditated murder.>>

http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-premeditated-murder.htm

I hope JM explains very clearly that premeditated murder (intention to kill and the killing itself) can occur in a matter of minutes. The jury needs it all simplified (dumbed down) just to be on the safe side.

bbm: if we are to believe Arias (I personally do not) testimony, the camera was in the "delete" mode when she dropped the camera so would not be in the take a picture mode. My conclusion: she was not deleting pictures as she went but did it after she murdered him and the camera was in her HAND when the ceiling picture was taken.:twocents:

Arias can never explain away those pictures that she deleted. She can try to involve Travis in it as much as she likes but it will not work (she tried to say in her testimony that THEY were deleting the pictures)
