I noticed in one of the interviews she says that Travis said; "I can't feel my legs."

Someone way back noticed the similarities to JA's story and a couple of movies she mentioned on her FB account. I wonder if a lot of her stories have movie lines or themes in them. "I can't feel my legs." is from the movie (My favorite.) "The Usual Suspects". The movie is about the worst criminal in the history of the world. Someone who gains control by "doing what the other guy was unwilling to do."

I don't think you can. What I did is I download the pictures to my computer. Then I opened a Photobucket account and it will let you upload the pictures and then you can share them on the web.

No morbid keepsake because she deleted the pictures, put the camera in the washer, and didn't take the sd card. So what is the purpose of the pictures if he's not aware of them or if she's holding a knife or gun on him?

I think she transferred them to something before she deleted them. There is no proof of that, it's just my speculation.

He was manscaped. That alone tells me he knew she was on her way. I haven't seen anything to prove that he wasn't aware that she was coming over or that he was being held hostage at any point during that day. I didn't hear the prosecution suggest any of this either.

Maybe you are around my age where that wasn't done but being manscaped is the normal for this generation. Even 6 yrs. ago.

I decided to take the tactic that another poster whom I cannot recall brought up. Someone said, if Jodi said she did ABC then that means she really did DEF.. Not ABC.

I then just back tracked a couple items and discovered just a couple simple things she said that are not disputed were actually false. So how much more is simply not true?

BBM - I had thought the bed was made in the nude photos of TA but now believe he is on the fitted bed sheet. Those dark colored sheets and comforter cover make it difficult to determine made bed or not. JMO

I found and looked at a couple of the JA nude photos of her laying down [not the woo hoo shots :notgood:]. It was unclear to me if she was on the bed or on the comforter spread out on the floor.

As others here have expressed, I too think JA took those nude photos of herself, then she sneaked up on the sleeping/awakening TA and took those two nude photos.

Can anyone tell for sure if JA's nude photos were on the bed or on the comforter on the floor? TIA

i'm really warming to the theory that he was upstairs asleep when she arrived, but i did read in flores's account that TA saw his roommate downstairs during the day on the 4th (jodi had to be upstairs in the bedroom at the time) and told his roommate he'd only slept for 45 minutes that night. so he may well have been up as she claims.

i DON'T think he knew she was coming though. this is her favorite MO---she shows up unexpected, she leaves something she has to return for, she wants to surprise him, she just materializes!!!!

creepy to me was the email she sent him about staying at his house while he was in cancun. who does that??? it's like she's saving her place in his bed while she knows he's in mexico with another woman (even though it's platonic.) SO pathological, IMO.

i wonder if any of TA's friends ever went so far as to suggest he get a restraining order. not that it would have stopped her. she was going to kill him if she couldn't have him, period. she couldn't move on with HER life knowing he was out there, happy, seeing other women and probably soon marrying one, and having a family. she just couldn't have that.

I don't think it is funny.

Travis was closed up within the shower/bathroom and behind his bedroom door...all the while the a/c is running. Only after his bedroom door was opened did the smell fully permeate the whole house.

Not meaning to say laugh at the roomies. My experience with dead smell in every instance was I could smell it well before I got close to it. But, for some reason I seem to have an incredible sense of smell in comparison to everyone else I know.

Also keep wondering about Travis's dog. If it was left alone for all those days while Travis was in the shower stall, I just can't imagine that he wasn't crying, barking, howling, etc. He probably hadn't had much food or water if no one was tending to him. I'd also be curious to know if any of the dog's hair hadn't been in that rental car coming off of JA.

Does anyone think it's possible that being a supposed photographer, JA would have figured out how to manipulate time stamps? I'm wondering if she did in regards to the naked pics. And in court, wasn't it brought up that she had advised or helped Travis in what camera he should buy? That bugs me. Like there may have been a motive for that.

She never thought anyone would see those pics so there's no need to alter the time stamp.

She stalked him and tortured him and killed him. He hated her. He was afraid of her, he wanted her out of his life.

It's likely that he did not. It will be interesting to see what JM makes of it during closing.

it looks to me she took then from that big chair next to the bed, with a sheet over it, or she was on the floor.

One shot actually seems to show the edge of his knee maybe? so it is possible she is on the bed...

Oh, it wasn't subconscious at all... have you read his texts from April and May of 2008? Less than a month before he was murdered by her, he had her pegged and I think it was a fatal mistake to let her know how accurate he was.

At 3:22 p.m., Arias goes shopping at a Wal-Mart and buys two facial cleansers and three unidentified items. The sale total was $43.90 and she paid cash.

Pasadena, California

At 8:16 p.m., Arias calls Alexander. The call lasted 2 minutes, 9 seconds.

At 8:31 p.m., Arias goes to a CVS pharmacy. It is not clear what she bought.

At 8:34 p.m., Arias calls Alexander again and the call lasts 49 seconds

Between 8:42 and 8:46 p.m., Arias makes two gas purchases at Arco. The first is for $34.61, and the second is a pre-paid purchase for $40.

She may have filed up her rental car and the gas tanks with fuel.

Ryan Burns testified Arias called him around 9 or 10 p.m. on June 3, 2008. She told him she was on her way to Utah. Burns expected her to arrive around 9 a.m. the next morning, Wednesday, June 4.
