:countsheep: I've been counting the minutes til testimony resumes today.

Today is the final day of watching live trials on TruTV, correct?

:( Bye, Beth.

What did JA do with all the gas in the cans?

I think she used some of it in the car when she was in AZ...the rest she had left over is when she went out in the desert and burned the evidence.

The car rental agent said the car she returned smelled like smoke .

IMO

Good morning everyone :-) I think today Juan Martinez will bring in JA stabbing Travis in the back because she had to defend herself. Wasn't that great when Juan got her to admit she showered in the same shower she put Travis in after she killed him? I don't understand how some keep complaining about how long Juan has kept JA on the stand. Don't they know the first 9 days she was up there because of her lawyer. Three more hours YAY!!!

I have "hope" they will announce today they've changed their mind and we'll continue to have InSession. A girl can hope, right? LOVE BETH!!!

Oh YES! That was juanderful!!!!

I'll be honest I really haven't been following this case (IMO there is nothing to follow, it's pretty cut and dry) but I'm surprised it's being followed as much as it is. Perhaps that's due to the nature of crime. I see this trial (and the media attention toward it) as a waste. A waste of taxpayer money and of people's time. The woman killed him, it's not even a question. She's obviously a danger to society, it's not even a question. This trial is basically window dressing for simply deciding if she should get the DP or not, which in itself is a joke because the complexities of our legal system means that's not going to happen anytime soon either if she gets that.

I dunno, I guess to me it's ridiculous how our justice system is tied up with cases like this where the there is no question to guilt but yet the circus needs to be played out 'to protect their rights'.

IMO only.

I was thinking the same thing. Last day of 9-3 In Session.

Maybe katiecoolady knows, but I was thinking maybe she will still be reporting on the 2 hours In Session and evening shows???

I honestly dont understand why some think Juan is to rush through the most important witness in this trial when we all had to listen to the Nurmi/Jodi boring show for 9 days.

I can't wait for today either. I had my iced coffee already (for energy), got some beautiful pilaf, plantain chips and the leftover pieces of fudge to eat later. I don't know how much of an appetite I'll have today after we hear about the murder.

I got the shivers yesterday when I realized how much thought she put into the murder of poor Travis. She is beyond evil. She didn't even just go to Mesa, shoot Travis and get out. She tortured him. There is a special place in hell for despicable creatures like her. There will be no peace for her here on earth or elsewhere, in life or death.

Why are they stopping the live trials on TV? I had not heard that. What is their reasoning?

The way he has been going, I tend to think he will be able to jog her memory about more of what happened that day. His questions lead her into a place she doesn't realize, until they are there. :gavel:

Did anyone else hear what I did during Nancy Grace last night? I typically mute the TV when that wack job "friend" of JA opens his mouth, but I heard this this exchange.

NG asked him what JA has been saying to him about the trial. He said that he had spoken to her last Sunday and that the topic had largely been how to "deal" with someone "here on the outside," and of course declined to provide a name.

I obviously could be 100 percent wrong, but my immediate response was -- whoa....He's referring to MM and essentially passing along a threat by JA that he had better stay loyal and keep quiet.

Did anyone catch any of that?

Ha. Maybe that's how she talked her way in the house that night. She comes in and surprises him, and he says " what are you doing here?'

" I wanted to give you a car payment. I brought you a check. "

;) This was my thought, too.

When OP goes to trial, will you stop following that case?

That's not cut and dried :seeya: Plus I've already said I think he's going to jail but this isn't about OP.

Does anyone believe that JA is innocent of a crime here?

Rumor is that Beth and Jean got laid off, so doesn't sound like Beth will be reporting on Vinnie's 2-hour In Session show.

HLN should switch to fulltime trial coverage, MINUS the incessant commercial breaks - and they should hire BETH as chief correspondent.

(bossy bossy me)

Last week DB came out and stated that this guy is not a close friend of JA's and is not visiting her in jail. Who knows, this guy might really have issues. jmo

You sound like my DH! :giggle: He always says, she admitted to killing him - There shouldn't even be a trial! I see what you are saying.

For me, I'm just fascinated by her audacity to sit on the stand thinking she is smarter than everyone else, and will somehow get out of this! It seems like a game to her.

It is about the justice system for me, and justice for the victim, family and loved ones. My thought, it's only cut and dried when the person pleads guilty.
