RH thinks he is invincible (sp???). Too smart for the regular folks. BARF!!!
Look how many lives he destroyed .

Yes, his specialty is mental illness defenses.

IMO I don't think a mental illness defense will fly. He clearly is just a narcissistic sociopath who thinks it is all about him. He didn't even care that the death would be horribly painful, which he clearly knew about since he had watched related videos. A little two year old boy.

Can anyone think of a mental defense strategy that will make sense? It is a serious question, I really want to know if there is one.

:floorlaugh:

Defense just tried to make R look like husband of the year because as R's baby lay dying a horrible death in his car, he made his lunch friends stop at home depot store to buy lightbulbs to replace those special bulbs that were out in L's vanity???????

Are you friggnin kidding me????

I don't really understand it when one case is deemed to be more horrific than all the other cases. What about children who are abused horribly until they are murdered? What about children who are kidnapped, raped and murdered by strangers? What about children who are killed in their classroom by a gunman? Obviously this is a horrific case but when this (and any case) is said to be the "worst of the worst", it doesn't really make sense to me.

I guess Chaney picked a bad day to release his sympathy for Casey interview!

Of course he failed to mention that he went to his car after lunch...again...he didn't "forget." He chose to not mention it...I think he really believed people would see it as an accident; therefore, no need for LE to check cameras...computer...and so on...why be careful?

Another psychopath sinks themselves.

I think he's trying to prove that Ross is an upstanding guy who has been forthcoming with info.

:floorlaugh: Yeah, counselor, good luck with that :floorlaugh:

I don't think he will make bond. The searches and mostly the pics of the carseat in the car from the different angles will be holding RH in.

My FB feed is now starting to light up with comments from the hearing, ranging from disbelief, to "I knew it," to agony.

I don't know if I can sit through watching character witnesses. I truly don't think I have the stomach for it.

Cannot wait to get our courtroom observer/member impressions of this hearing later!

The fact that this accused murderer bought light bulbs (because LH's vanity had 3 burnt out bulbs) while his helpless baby was dying a horrific death in his car doesn't mitigate a single thing in my mind nor does it lead me to believe that RH simply "forgot" his baby.

It illustrates to me the depravity of this heinous [alleged] murderer that he could go shopping for light bulbs - knowing his precious baby was suffering unimaginable torture.

I can't at this point. they pretty much have enough to show he knew what he was doing. Don't know what standard Georgia uses, but for all the insanity defenses I learned about, Prosecutor has blown a huge hole in each.
