I somehow missed that JH has lost his job..I have seen it posted here, in several comments. Was this in the media? I thought he was home because of the memorial service et al. Thanks in advance, if someone can point me in the right direction.

AFAIK, it hasn't been said in MSM that he lost his job but it has been said that he is looking for a new one closer to Wichita (BBM):

Hernandez’s current job keeps him out of state for weeks at a time. His absence has made it difficult to obtain parental rights to his youngest child, 1-year-old Mia, who was taken into state custody when Glass was arrested in late February for child endangerment.

“My job requires me to be out of town three weeks at a time. I want to be here for my daughter and do everything it takes to regain custody of her. That requires me to be available anytime for whatever the state needs or my daughter needs. I need to stay local now that I am her only parent and what I’ve got to do.”

This constant intrusions resulted in Hernandez avoiding the public as much as possible while desperately trying to find a way to move to another residence. Yet, he said he already missed close to a month of work, as his current job requires him to travel out of states for weeks at a time. With his son’s memorial coming up and with the ongoing investigation, Hernandez said it’s not possible for him to leave the state for work.

Hernandez also wants to find new line of work so that he can stay local and try to get custody of his daughter, who’s currently in state care until he can provide a stable household.

This is exactly what I don't get people are so angry at EG for harming Lucas (rightly so) yet I have seen posted excuse after excuse for JH harming EG bio son, - EG must of pushed him to the point he lost it, the child was acting out, the child was spraying freshener so JH was protecting the other children, EG is making the child lie about it happening, it was only a push people are making too big a deal about it, the father is only making a big deal about it to keep the kids away from EG. When is it ever ok to leave a mark on a child out of anger? Do we just blow off what happened because the child wasn't hurt badily? I just don't get it I really don't.

You’re absolutely right. I’m not making excuses for JH and that’s why I pointed out that he still has to go for a bench trial later this month for the battery charge regarding EG’s son. He’s no better that EG.

I wonder why he really lost his job. I would think he would be granted compassionate time off, and be welcome back at any time. With his child missing. I could be wrong, but I think there is more to it. Hmmmmm.
I think the one thing him and E.G. had the most in common is meth.
Every picture I've seen so far he has that glazed look, skin looks unhealthy, scabby..
He's like a faces of meth poster boy.
I think that's why he backed E.G. lied,and covered for her.
What other explanation is there. For his actions through all of this?
As for stability, there was none. Least of all for Lucas, E.G.s sons, and MH.

Where did you get information that he lost his job? I must have overlooked this. The last thing I read was his statement that he was going to look for employment closer to home, but I haven't seen anything that stated he doesn't still have his current job. Do you have a link for this?

It was my mistake. I said he lost his job, but not in the sense of being fired or anything, just that he wants to work locally . I’m sorry for the confusion

I don't know what is wrong with JH's throat anymore than you all do. I will say my Dad's 'throat ulcer' was cancer of the esophagus and into his stomach. So I'm not going to down anyone that's already down. He may not live if it is cancer. I doubt he is in the shape to be reading any of this <modsnip>

Sorry. He aided and abetted the tremendous amount of trauma, and stress Lucas, went through, and E.G.s sons, and M.H. as well. Remember he has child abuse case against him. He's lying and down playing that,( making the child out to be the liar) just like he did from the get go. Remember how POed and arrogant he was when the abuse of Lucas was brought to light?
I feel for the children. They are the victims.

I do hope he does ok regardless of the situation. He is doing well enough to post on his facebook and ask for donations, so I am assuming he is out of ICU and doing ok at the moment.

I agree but every shock jock does it. Part of the show. I have no feelings about any entertainer. It’s simply the way the popular ones seem to be.

Not personal either. You know I have a ton of respect for you. I’m very pragmatic about these people.

I think most of us here understand that she has a job to do and that means she needs to provide a certain level of excitement and entertainment, however(and it’s a big however) when you choose to do your show about crime stories that are ongoing I personally believe that spreading blatant lies does more harm in the long run.

I can find fictional stories all over the Internet. When I spend my time listening to a show about true crime, I don’t appreciate being told lies. At all.

I have thought that too. An uptick in crime? I lived in Kansas for 4 years, and am in Colorado now, but feel like I see more deadly shootings in Wichita than the Denver metro, even though Denver is much larger. I don't recall this for Wichita when I lived in Kansas, although that was 15 years ago.

In of our sweet missing girls was missing from a party after being treated for MONTHS with this virus.
Small, Dark haired, around 18... age had a cat I think...
Trying to find the name of the virus. It was NOT Haunta from what I recall.

I want to say her name started with an "A".

Valley Fever (coccidioides), maybe? Although I don’t see throat abcess as a symptom I guess it could be a secondary infection from coughing so much, maybe. I have a friend who is being treated for it now.

Omaha too has more shootings and murders than we used to, however there is not near the child deaths as wichita has had recently. Its very saddening.

I want to know everything. How they think Lucas died, who was responsible and/or involved and how he got to that culvert. What happened Friday night, Feb 16 and the next day, when CR spent the night, what the dogs hit on, the reason for the park searches, what they found on her phone, why they asked if anyone saw someone running barefoot, what evidence they have from her vehicle as well as the home, why it was said early on that Lucas wasn't abducted and didn't walk out of the house, where Lucas was on Valentine's Day, the doctor and CPS reports for all illnesses and injuries, and that's just off the top of my head. I know we're not going to get all that, but I want it!

Calm down. I said I don't support him! But he is under a tremendous amount of stress. AND he has lost his son, and found a woman with her head blown to bits. I don't defend him at all, I was commenting on the way he sounded on the 911 call.
