It was 30 minutes to an hour between the time they noticed she was missing till she was found dead.
It's possible she was missing for 90 minutes but I doubt it was much more than that.
The circumstances of the crime made it sound like a very impulsive sort of thing. I was expecting them to discover it was done by a teenager for that reason. I was very surprised when they arrested a grown man with kids of his own.

Barren County Jailer Matt Mutter said that Timothy Madden was moved from Barren County Detention Center in Glasgow on Tuesday because space was needed for other inmates at the jail.
Something that I've learned from the vast number of cases on here, is these crimes can happen in a matter of minutes. It's also quite possible that she could have been missing longer than they thought. Many of us thought it would be a teenager. I was totally shocked when it wasn't. It's JMO, but I think they have found or will continue to find terrible things on his devices. I suspect he was thinking of little else than abusing a child. It was for sure impulsive and I think he saw an opportunity and just seized it with no other thought. It's horrific.
Does anyone know what led law enforcement to the perp ?

this is the article i was quoting in my post above. Mr Doolin says he saw Madden and then they heard the ambulance. IMO this suggests Madden stuck around after the attack then went home. What does anyone else think?
