I can't imagine that anybody in their right mind would be aiding and abetting this guy, so I highly doubt he dumped the little girl off with a relative or an acquaintance. If he did, they would undoubtedly call the cops.

He took a hostage so he could leave town.

They're gonna have to figure out where he's been staying the last couple of days.....the easy way or the hard way is fine with me.

My guess is he has been staying in an abandoned home, an unoccupied home, or a vacant house that is for sale.

Has anyone read a confirmation of when he picked Laynee up from his family member's home? I am just now catching up on the story. The reports say he told Laynee's mom that he was going to pick her up but then the next statements say he hasn't been seen since then. Confusing. Had he not been seen since he said he was going to get her, or since he actually did get her?

believe me i understand your confusion mother ocean.......the reporting has been convoluted from the beginning.....but my understanding is he had laynee with him, he did get her from his relative's home.....and then went missing......

There was a technical error with the original post. Officials have confirmed that the body of a two year-old toddler, that appears to be Laynee Wallace, has been recovered near her home on Temple Hill Road. The body was taken to the coroner's office in Louisville for positive identification.

That poor sweet baby girl....so innocent. RIP sweet girl.... big prayers to her twin sister. I don't think she will ever feel right again. My nieces are fraternal twins. One passed away from SIDS at 2 1/2 months old. The surviving twin is 20 now, but always feels like she is missing something. So sad.
