I’m sure for a predator a young lady walking alone in the early morning hours on a rural road would definitely be an appealing target.

Random coincidence, Karma. I think of the teacher in Sydney, MT, jogging in the morning, and was just randomly kidnapped by some druggie crazy men. Terrible.

Except in the mollie tibbetts case she had been being stalked. Or at least it’s likely she was, he had an infatuation with her moo

I haven't kept up with her case for a few months. The last news I read said that he saw her running, passed her, turned around, and went back and started following her.

Kristi Cornwell, Rachel Cooke, and Amy Bechtel were all taken as the women walked or ran down the road. No case is ever going to be exactly like another one, but we can always look at similarities.

In MOO, though, she didn't make it out of the house or car alive.

And then there is Sherri Papini.

yep i agree many cases where it whas very much a first citing situation. Jmo opinion In MT case. He likely knew her jogging routes had seen her jogging previously etc. But yes many times predators can just come up on somebody in a random situation. MOO

I have four theories on what happened.....

She was killed in the car and dumped before she ever got to the house. Phone was found at 8:30AM by "guy(s)" while cleaning up, immediately turned off and discarded. ---- If this is the case, between the 2:30-ish phone call to mom and the 8:30-ish phone turn off, that's a lot of time to dump the body with a very wide area. So, was it one guy, or all three guys? I can't imagine all three would know to turn off their phones while they drove around and discarded her body so they couldn't be "traced". And we know her phone wasn't off until 8:30-ish, so, surely her phone would ping and give their location as they drove around if it was in the car with them. But, news article says they know she ended up at a home so this isn't my top choice........

Police reveal missing Kentucky mom Savannah Spurlock was taken to rural home by three men
“We know that she ended up at a home in Garrard County sometime after leaving the bar with these three men,” Richardson said. “They did not know Savannah prior to meeting her at the bar.”

"Spurlock’s phone was turned off around 8:30 a.m. the morning of January 4. It has not yet been located."

She made it to the house and something happened there. Either everyone woke up and she was dead, or, they killed her. ---- If they woke up and she was dead, not a lot of time to dispose of her body and she would be found a lot closer to the home she was at. If they killed her, it could be right after they arrived and gives a lot of time to take her elsewhere. Again, one guy, or all three guys? And, would they really think to leave their phones at home as to not be traced? They could have found her phone while cleaning up and disposed of it later.

She did make a call for someone to pick her up and they did and something happened to her. ----- I think this is plausible at this point and why one of the three haven't "cracked" yet. But maybe no one has cracked yet because all three were NOT involved, maybe it was just one guy because the other two already went home?? Maybe the police know she texted or called someone to get her, but haven't said that publicly yet? Maybe she truly did leave. I think if they were asleep they would have just said they were asleep and when they woke up, she was gone. I kept thinking she WALKED away since everyone keeps discussing how she wouldn't just walk away with how she was dressed. I don't have time to re-read every article, but the two I found don't say she WALKED away, it says she left the location and they don't know how that was.........

Police reveal missing Kentucky mom Savannah Spurlock was taken to rural home by three men
“We were told that she left that location,” Richardson told WKYT. “That’s something we can’t confirm right now. So we’re looking for any information in regards to that. If somebody saw something, saw her, saw anything, just let us know.”

They also tell investigators she left the home on her own but are not sure how she left.

She walked away. This is lowest for me because I think she would have had to have felt her life was in danger to walk away from an unknown place in the dark, with heels and a dress. And if she did and died from exposure, they would have found her by now.
I'm leaning toward your second or third hypotheses.

That said, more women are killed by someone close or who was close to them than by complete strangers. She had just experienced a couple of huge life events - giving birth and a breakup. And her dad said in the interview with Fox that she had been going through a rough time - so it sounds like her personal life was in turmoil.

I really hope LE is looking at all the possibilities. And I pray they find her soon, especially with the upcoming search.

New group comes to Kentucky in hopes of finding Savannah Spurlock (with clip)

Feb 13, 2019

"RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) – Members of the midwest chapter of a Texas-based group have traveled to central Kentucky to help bring new eyes to the search for Savannah Spurlock.

David Rader, with Texas Equusearch Ohio is no stranger to the Kentucky area, last having been in the state helping to track down murdered northern Kentucky couple, Bobby Jones and Crystal Warner.

"Unfortunately, since I've been here so many times, this is almost like my backyard," Rader said. This time, he’s focused on finding Savannah Spurlock....

Texas Equusearch teams will be out searching early Saturday morning, although it's not clear where, just yet. Search teams will meet at 8 a.m. at the Hyattsville Baptist Church in Lancaster. Volunteers are being accepted to help in the search. For more information, click here...."

Just trying to narrow down the timeline a bit. I believe the time stamped video shows SS and the men leaving the Other Bar at 2:30 a.m.. Google maps shows 40+ miles to Garrard county residence. 1hr drive time under normal traffic conditions. I'm guessing even though their was most likely little to no traffic that driving those curvy roads after dark would probably mean that their would be a lot of slowing down stopping etc. Factor in 15 minutes or so to get to the vehicle after leaving the bar, I think its reasonable to think that they probably would have arrived at the home at 3:45-4:00 at the earliest (If she did infact ever arrive there). So that means there are approximately 4-4 1/2 hrs before her phone went dead or was turned off.

I still have not heard a thing about Savannah's job as a server, and why the strange email threats (“Send us 8 Bitcoin to below address. Now be smart or never see her again. you have 12 hours"). Is she receiving any support at all (emotional or financial) from the baby daddies? In addition, I have not heard a thing either about whether or not Savannah graduated from college, but she does have a US Navy tattoo - was she in the Navy? She had the Biblical phrase 'Philippians 4:1' tattooed on her as well: "Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved."

#1 She was unemployed. #2 Baby daddy #1 not in the picture baby daddy #2 is on good terms but no idea about financial support. We don't know who had custody. #3 Her dad was in the navy. #4 She has not graduated from college. #5 Nothing has been revealed about her religious convictions.

Exactly what bwt42 said, but adding...

The threats were a sad attempt from scammers trying to take advantage of the family’s desperation.

I don’t think any of the babies lived with her? If so, she would not get support imo.

Who is going to volunteer to drive her home an hour away all messed up still (on whatever)?

But wouldn’t LE know who she called last or texted?

They may know, or, if she sent a voice text, FB vid chat, facetime, maybe not. Historical data, yes, but audio and video that may have been uploaded to the cloud, may be more time consuming. How long? Idk. Just a theory based on a bit of research.

I’m just stumped. What if the woman they found in the lake inside a truck is somehow connected to the disappearance of SS?

Talk about coincidences....

I don't think so. She'd only just been reported missing earlier that day, and I think she stayed on the lake with her mother. Not sure what happened but I don't think there was any foul play.

I think that also means moms call to her might have been as she was walking with the two men! Maybe that's why her purse is hanging open!
That might also be why she hung up on mom and called her back when they were all in the car!
