Sanchez remains in the Tangipahoa Parish Jail in lieu of $1,500 bail, deputies said Thursday evening.

Deputies previously said a hold had been placed on Sanchez, but McIntyre and Perrilloux agree that unless the hold is in writing, nothing would prevent Sanchez from posting bail if she is able to do so.

I bet he is looking forward to going to NC. He would probably rather be held in NC for a sex offense than LA or MS on a murder charge. No wonder he waived extradition......

NC has not been stellar in keeping track of him in the first place. He is used to evading them and doing what he pleases. Moving back to his comfort zone where he has been successful in avoiding his conditions sounds pretty good compared to murder interrogation and charges.

If they had enough on him to hold him on a murder charge, that would trump the failure to register thing, I'd think.

Are they doing this to keep track of him, keep him off the streets? If NC can lock him up for a week, LE has more time with MAS.

Possible?

I really hope that LE has something substantial and is not coming forward with it yet because TS is in custody and it gives them more time to investigate.

Anyone know if this is something that is commonly done by LE or a possibility?

Good morning everyone! Considering MAS' bail was set so low, and TS is being transferred to NC I'm soooo confused now about their involvement.
Obviously, as far as we know they were the last ones to see her alive....but it seems like LE has very little other than that. What the heck is going on?!

BBM and ITA. I would like to see some evidence (factual or circumstancial) besides them leaving the club with Jaren. I would hate to think there is some a-hole out there savoring these two lowlifes paying for his/her deed yahknow?

TS I can see the worry. He has a history of evading LE. MAS, not so much. Judging from his history on the move, I find it unlikely he'll even bother coming back for her if he's ever given an opportunity to run.

If they were seen together in Mississippi, IMO, there must be a third or even fourth person involved. By the time they got to Mississippi, it would have been around 3ish? They do whatever it is that they do together (party, etc), which takes up more time. She is killed, but by then it is almost light outside. That doesn't give them enough time to dismember and dispose by 6:00 a.m. Also, if this was done in a hotel, there would have been evidence left behind and a crime scene would be established by now, I would think.

Just a thought look at the Casinos in BSL more so the Sliver Slipper in relation to the locations that JL body parts were found. If they met someone there (client who requested "party") they have an RV park right on the water. Someone could have killed her taken care of the body ( may have waited until the next day/night which would have been Wed night I think). he body was found Thur on a beach near by???? If it was an RV now you have a mobile cs???

After reading a comment on the RIP FB page it looks like someone posted some cruitial info on the Justice FB page that Police did not want leaked to the General Public. And bc of that info the page was shut down.

I didn't friend that page because I didn't want any contact with the Crazed Commentor.

If Local LE haven't charged TS in JL's death, they probably don't have enough evidence. There might be an agreement in place with NC that includes specific confinement and oversight.

NC's lost him before. They probably don't want to be known as the state that lost a murderer, especially if they'd been able to keep track of him in the first place this may never have happened. NC may bear some civil culpability, here.

They have a vested interest in JL's case, IMO.

The more I think about it, LE must have surveillance video(s) of all 3 of them in Mississippi. First off, they had plenty of time to get their "story" in order/matching before they were arrested. When confronted during questioning about the evidence they had in Mississippi showing a very alive JL, that's when their alibis started to crumble and they each gave different versions. Also, another supporting fact, at least to me, is that Mississippi has remained lead on the case, and I don't think it was just because the remains washed ashore there. As well, LE is hunting down more surveillance videos from Mississippi, not NOLA.

If Mississippi is where the crime happened, then that may be for the best. I came across this little bit of information "With four execution so far and two scheduled this month, Mississippi is on pace to have more executions in 2012 than it has had in any year since the 1950s.

Her attorney says there's also a hold that's been placed on her by Hancock County, Mississippi, meaning she can't bond out of jail.

Speaks, meanwhile, will be transported back to North Carolina by U.S. Marshals.

It will be up to the Marshals to decide when he goes back.

It could be today, or it could be a couple weeks from now.

Think about it what would the attraction be to go the Mississippi? MONEY (Casinos)? None of the 3 TS, MAS or JL have any money. Somebody made someone a promise of a big payday then something went very wrong. My guess is JL was killed in and body disposed of in Mississippi. This is a Sex Drugs and Money Crime.
