Also, I believe family has said the jl's car had recently been wrecked and that they were staying at the hotel to be close to work. I am sure she was probably trying to get the car fixed or get a new one. So the thought of some extra money may have been hard to pass up

The clubs I am familiar with would fire any girl immediately if it was discovered she was prostituting. Dancers are not prostitutes. They are dancers. Again, I'm sure there are some clubs that look the other way when it happens, but I can assure you, that is not the norm. IMO, prostitution is a long way from dancing.

Lastly, I cannot get with the theory that there was a big wig somewhere waiting for a girl. I don't see anyone with money and power dealing with these two for any reason. If the man has money, why would he need a stripper pulled from a bar in NO? All he'd have to do is pick up a phone and call any number of companies that send girls to dance for you privately. If he wanted sex, call an escort service. That's far easier & cuts out the middle man. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
The other problem I have with it is that if MAS and TS had a legitimate private party for JL to go to, then why lie to the other girl(s)? Look at them... I would think inviting a girl to go do a private party for $700.00 would be more likely to be accepted than going to go have sex with those two! I think they were just trying to get someone, anyone, to leave with them. I don't know why... what they wanted from her, but they just wanted a girl. I don't think there was anyone else involved. I could be wrong, and if I am, I'm sure whoever that other person was is just as skeezy as they are. No big shot, IMO.

It would be a no brainer if s/he only wanted sex. It's unlikely a person with more nefarious intentions would place a phone call to an escort service and use a credit card as payment.

I have a feeling this may beak based on cell phone tracking records. I would guess the one or all 3 had cell phones.

If so, they're taking their time, IMO

They should have had access to JL's phone data by the 7th. They can retrace tower hits and they can tell when it stops transmitting. Not just turned off, stops.

No doubt in my mind that Memory Foam knows MUCH more than most of us on this. Was just looking for a bit more clarity.

I have felt that a private party or after party dance was the lure from the beginning. However I never thought it was for sex. (Not that there is anything wrong with that if it was, sorry I just don't have issues with it) but...if it had been about sex or hair dying I believe it would have ended up at Ms. Sanchez's home. It appears by the lack of interest by LE on the residence that is not where this played out.

I don't think it played out on some beach standing in cold water at night either, just does not feel right or feasible to me. I think this played out in a safe place, meaning motel room, another residence, or a boat.

If MS had a free home to live in coming from a large family. I wonder if she had access to a boat. I know many feel she is a loser, but obviously her family supplied her with a nice home. Wonder what else she has access to. (boat, cabin ...etc)

Hmm...is there surveillance video of that?

If they were approached at or near clubs and there are cameras all over, those exchanges might show up on video. I'm pretty sure these women didn't say they were approached on stage.

I'm puzzled about why they didn't come forward until after the arrests.

I wonder how far back LE has traced MAS & TS. That might be valuable information.

Above BBM...:yes: YES! :applause:.. I totally agree with your entire post as well.. especially about the logic in these two being involved with any high roller/big wig of any sort.. moo is that there is nothing but selfish, self serving desperation that was driving these two, period...jmo, tho!

The only problem I have with this is that if someone saw her dance, why did they proposition two other dancers prior to her. I think they were looking for a girl that night to go with them (where exactly is the question) but...they had to produce a girl. I wish we had a timeline on when the other two were propositioned, was it like bang, bang, bang....one, two, three. or did time lapse between each proposition.

Not completely sold on the other girls rumor/theory.

If it's corroborated, I'll have to rethink.

ETA: Maybe they had a list of girls IDK

Moo but these two that were approached would be extremely easy to verify. Sheila Nand states that the manager of the club was even witness to part of the desperate ploy that MAS continued in even involving the manager at one point that Nand felt was just another manipulation in attempts to gain Nands trust bychatting it up with the manager..

LE absolutely have already verified these other propositions that were made by these two that night..that i am certain.jmo.

Down towards the bottom is says that Speaks fled to San Diego in 2005 and was picked up there in 2009.

I have noted that his prison records show he was in jail from June 2006 to January 2009.

Well, I guess he could have gone to SD in 2005, been arrested there and sent back to NC, serviced his time (too little time), and, as soon as he was released Jan. of 2009, beat feet right back to San Diego. Disobeying the rules of his RSO restrictions the minute he was released.

When you read it though, it sounds as if he was in San Diego straight through from 2005 until they picked him up in 2009. All this, and he wasn't sent back to prison? :jail: :maddening:
 
Something that has been bothering me is the fact that ts has failed to register as a so 3 times I think. How does that happen? After the first time they should be followed closer. What is the point of the registry if you expect criminals to police theirselves? I know it is an expense for the state and in increase in manpower. So I had a thought... U get several dwi's and u are required to have a breathalyzer on your car and pay it. Why not after failing to register as a so, you are required to wear an ankle monitor and pay a monitoring fee??? It would be awesome if something like that could be Jaren's legacy!

Do we actually know for sure they did not come forward before the arrests, they may have contacted LE, we just don't know.

If they did not come forward right away they may have had their reasons. There is a stigma that goes with being a dancer, prostitute, phone sex operator, escort. Sometimes that can make you hesitant to come forward until you are certain that something 100 percent amiss. This is very hard for me to explain. Also, maybe they had not put two and two together yet, and once they did then they came forward. We don't know the full story. However I do believe that they were approached that night. IMHO
