Hopefully i did this link correctly. Haven't been on here a while but saw this clip of MAS that says she can only be held till august 17th on current charges. Have ya'll already talked about this? It has some video of her dad who was interviewed off camera and he allegedly told the reporter that MAS thought she had met the man of her dreams but it has become a nightmare and he hopes they catch the people who really did this.

MAS's dad has a rude awakening coming to him. I know everyone defends their own child but seriously, if he thinks she is innocent then HOW does he explain that TWO girl's that his daughter claims to be such good friends with have ended up dead and dismembered.

While I feel that MAS had nothing to do with Addie's death, I am equally sure that MAS had EVERYTHING to do with Jaren's death. If his daughter is so innocent then why isn't she telling LE about all that happened so they can "find the people who did this"?

MAS is standing by her man (TS) but it wont do her any good. He will be locked up for a long time to come and so will she. Daddy can't get her out of this one.

I'm sure her lawyer has advised her to clam up since nothing she can say will help her look innocent.

I have finally completed my “road trip” from the Silver Slipper Casino area to where South Beach Blvd and Bay Oaks Drive meet. After checking out several locations like the Clermont Harbor and the areas of Buccaneer State Park, etc.

I have came to the conclusion that the Garfield Ladner Memorial Pier in Waveland, maybe the spot of where JL remains were dropped.

Oceanographers studying tide flow and wind currents determined Lockhart’s body could not have traveled into Mississippi waters from outside the state in the amount of time between her disappearance and the discovery of her remains, Saucier said.

Here are some very interesting facts -

• The report from the Oceanographers.
• The pier location, it’s approximately 1.5 miles from where the torso was found.
• I can actually see the Garfield Ladner Memorial Pier from that spot at Bay Oaks Dr. and South Beach Boulevard location with my binoculars.
• I can see the direction of the water when I was on the Garfield Pier (winds were from the Southwest – same as the day in question.)
• The pier has numerous outdoor water faucets with garden hoses, even at the very end of the pier. This is handy if you need to "clean up" any blood.
• The end of the pier has deeper water which is known for shark fishing.
• There are no security cameras.
• I only saw about 6 fisherman on the pier on Sunday at 2pm. Must be less people fishing around 3am during inclement weather?
• Admission is free and the pier does not have a Pier Ranger on Duty at all times. Their website has outdated information.
• According to their Facebook Page – Hours are: Wed - Thu: 6:00 pm - 2:00 am
• However, the stairs to the pier are not locked, so anybody can get access.

More likely she was killed at a home on the mississippi gulf coast and taken there in someone else's vehicle (not MAS or TS's) or there would be forensic evidence in their car.
My newest theory is they went to that $700 job, where someone was paying for a dancer or escort and it turned out to be something much more sinister. I'm thinking this is about an organized crime for which MAS and TS are afraid of being killed for singing, which is why neither of them have turned against the other. This might be some kind of snuff thrill kill. We haven't even heard if the single stab wound was ruled fatal. The worst thought to me is that she may have survived that stab wound and was killed during dismemberment.
Listen, in backwoods North Carolina it is not uncommon for men to date and bed down underage teenage girls and have it be okay with folks in town. That is TS' crime, correct? Usually charges aren't even pressed in places like Mt. Airy. I'm originally from NC and old enough to remember when statutory rape was common and rarely prosecuted. I think TS is a loser, but not a killer. He doesn't strike me as a malignant sociopath or a sadist. I think MAS is too mentally fragile and definitely not a sociopath, even if TS might be. I think they got sucked into something big by someone who knows how to get away with it and leave no evidence like a knife or bodily fluids.

Saw 2luckydogs link on TS (above) and the circumstances around his sex offender charge. The 14 year old's mother let her daughter live with TS for over a month and only notified authorities that she was missing when the girl was truant from school. So it was OK!! for her to take up a new boyfriend 16 years older than her but not ok when she wasn't going to school. When TS got arrested for driving a stolen motorcycle, they found the girl on the back of it and sent her home. Typical North Carolina trailer trash nonsense. Sorry, does my disdain for my home state show?

I've been thinking the same thing. I've come across some info for an RV park used by the Silver Slipper Casino. It seems many of the recent escort and prostitution busts took place at hotels near the MS coast. I'm wondering if the "party" they were headed to was at a hotel or casino on the coast. If so, the Silver Slipper would have been the closest to NOLA. Their RV park is not manned according to the RV website I checked. This or another RV park between Waveland and Bay St. Louis might also have provided water and seclusion for those involved in Jaren's death and/or dismemberment.

I still wonder about the number of occasions Jaren may have been escorted to a party like the one she was invited to. I don't think this was the first because of the money involved, and I wonder how many TS and MAS may heve been involved with.

I also wonder if some of the photos of Jaren on the coast offer any clues to where she may have gone with TS and MAS. There are some pics of her in her memorial video that look like they were taken at an RV park near the coast and then there are the pics of her with the Long Beach pier in the background. It seems as though Jaren would have been very comfortable accepting an invite to a location near those in the pictures-JMO.

This has become my best guess scenario as well. I can't imagine that they left the club knowing they were on video and still planning to kill her. My next guess would be that the offer to Jaren ended up being BS to get a 3 way going and when Jaren found out she got pissed and freaked out, maybe threatening to call the police and they killed her to silence her, especially given his warrants.

I agree that MAS is a master manipulator. After I read your post, I started thinking alot about Middle Child Syndrome. Below is a couple of paragraphs from a parenting website. IMO the article described some of the behaviors MAS has displayed on TV.

What is Middle Child Syndrome?

Middle child syndrome is a condition in which children born in the middle experience feelings of emptiness, inadequacy and jealousy. It is also characterized by low self-esteem and extreme introversion, sometimes even leading to psychotic behavior.

The middle child, unlike the eldest child and the youngest child, is not given much attention. They have to go the extra mile just to get some of it. Middle children tend to be achievers because they need awards to be recognized by their parents. Sadly, this also goes the other way around, they can be very troublesome and determined to get noticed even if it means getting scolded at or punished.

Because they lack emotional support and guidance from their parents, they will always have a sense of low self-esteem. Thank you Swamp Mama. I have not giving up on Jaren yet! She was
someone's mother, daughter, sister, girlfriend, sister-in-law, cousin,
co-worker, and friend. That is what keeps me going with this case.

I am sure that MAS and TS had a "dress rehearsal" prior to this incident. This was definitely a "premeditated murder" in my opinion and I'm also very curious of what were the contents inside MAS's large white purse in the surveillance video of that night, when they picked up JL?

P.S. I do not know the family dynamics of MAS's family. But, that's very interesting about the "Middle Child Syndrome." I am the youngest in my large family, so I know exactly what you are talking about.

That's always been my favorite theory.

I can't dismiss the statement from the dancer who said MAS approached her while she was dancing on stage. We've also heard another woman allegedly was approached before JL. If either woman is telling the truth, it follows that JL was not a target. And then there are the video cameras that Mooky mentioned, and I've expressed doubts about, myself. It doesn't add up that the pair would allow themselves to be captured on surveillance video as the people last seen with their victim, if they had intentions of committing a heinous crime immediately afterward.

IMHO, TS is a hustler, and setting up a private, after hours "party" would be right up his alley.

MAS and TS were married by a Bourbon St doorman who is also an ordained minister. Later, MAS found out the wedding wasn't legitimate, and she pitched a fit. So they say. Maybe someone else will jump in here because I'm a little sketchy on the details.

As far as we know, so far it's just the video. LE is waiting for DNA results to come back from Quantico. We don't know if they have other evidence, but the pair hasn't been charged, so that tells you something. It doesn't mean evidence doesn't exist, only that it is still being processed. Last week (or was it the week before :waitasec LE was going through JL's phone records. They said it would take awhile to match up all of the numbers. The most recent article mentioned a phone call JL made shortly before she left the club. I believe it's the same one mentioned in the earlier article. The The number belongs to a pre-paid phone. If the phone was purchased with cash, it might be impossible to identify the owner.

JL's bf hasn't spoken publicly, that I'm aware. His brother does post here, though. Rumors have floated around that say JL worked private parties, but to my knowledge, it's not been confirmed by a credible source.
