Michalski is done.

Crown Jill Cameron reads in an agreed statement of fact:

A 32-calibre revolver was found at Maple Gate in late 2012 and was fully functional... Mr. Millard's DNA was found on the grip."

A scientist who studied the gun couldn't tell when the DNA got there, but said "DNA can be transferred from one person to an item and then onto another item."

Crown Cameron shows the jury two photos of the gun.

Where is there any evidence that DM and MS did not get along??? It has all been about Bro Love! Why is this allowed, enough already of DM's blathering and his "Yes Man" AM.

And thanks Velma, hilarious!

I completely agree. AM could have clearly refuted that point, but its all "yes, yes" and "no, no" from this guy. He likely just wants it to be over, but he really should show more tact, and not be in such agreement with this convicted murderer turned lawyer.

Crown has made an admission of fact: A 33 Caliber Smith and Wesson revolver was found in Millards home w his DNA on he grip.

The jury has been excused for a moment before the next witness is brought in. I can blog once they're back.

And with that, Dungey is done. I'm not quite sure what he's alluding to, but perhaps it will come clear later in the trial. We haven't heard this before.

Obviously MS didn't see or hear or do anything because he was outside having a smoke.

Perhap MS DID see/hear something when he went out for a smoke?

Only Dellen's DNA on the handle of a gun found in Maple Gate in late 2012? Sounds like the gun that killed Wayne Millard to me.

okay...I know they are now onto a gun but any thoughts/theories that possibly LB was drown in his pool?

Not so sure. The gun would have been confiscated at time of his death. And I'm pretty sure DM would have an excuse for his DNA being there, and his father's would have been on it also.

IISHO pleaded guilty to selling DM three guns. Although MS did text that the house was broken into and tool(s) were stolen. MOO

July is before November.

I did entertain this thought myself, and I did find it odd in picture (not sure when it was taken) the entire pool looked to be drained, and you do not drain the entire pool to close it up for the season?? Figured maybe they filled it for some reason before the sale?

So why would a gun be taken from his residence and no charges come from it if this was not the gun that caused Wayne Millard's death?

Millard, "You and I were best friends. We worked together well... Mr. Smich and I didn't get along well. But I supported him, I protected him?"

Michalski answers, "Yes."

They didn't get along well but loved him like a brother? Ummmm this is absurd and AM is still his pathetic yes man. Moo
