LE wants to interview the parents separately

Wonder if restricted just means without an attorney present? I don't see that happening, nor should it at this point. Sounds like the spin is trying to recreate the Ramsey situation, ack. I'm fine with them talking with LE separately with counsel present to advise what to answer and what not to answer.

well-LE would like to ask them more questions and they are having a problem with that.I have not heard LE clear these parents

Personally I'm shocked they have not been questioned seperatly yet, it needs done.

Furthermore I wouldn't care one iota if LE was calling me a murderer in the first hour of questioning, if my child were missing under the circumstances reported and I had absolutley nothing to hide, I would be giving 100%, 100% of the time until I couldn't breathe anymore, until my child was found!

If your telling the truth to begin with your story will be consistent, the truth is always consistent it is only when you lie that it will change to the extreme that LE starts eyeballing you .... moo

Attorney: Missing Missouri girl's family is 'stumped'

An attorney representing the family of a missing Missouri 11-month-old said the girl's parents are "stumped" as to what happened to her, but are "an open book" for investigators.

"They're on a journey that no one has a road map for," she said of the couple.

"Lisa was the little girl that was going to hold this family together." She was wanted, looked forward to and "well-loved," Short said.

The couple has "cooperated in every way they can possibly cooperate" with investigators, Short said. Bradley has spent about 40 hours total talking with authorities, she said, and the family has signed consent forms, provided physical evidence and allowed their sons to be interviewed. "They've been an open book."

Bradley, she said, is "very open and she's been very honest. There are many things about our lives that we would prefer to keep to ourselves, and she's done the opposite."

One thing the lawyer would be worried about is LE convincing one or the other does have something to hide and turning them against the other using lying and trickery and ending up with a lie from one of the parents.

An example would be LE hearing hints that DB or JI have been having an affair with a certain person.

LE creates a bunch of fake emails, text or pings and shows one of them all this perfect evidence.

LE tells JI they know this boyfriend was over that night and they know that JI knows Deb shook the baby earlier and it probably died while deb was drunk with the boyfriend. JI is so sucked into the LE story he agrees with LE that she shook the baby and he saw it.


LE does a very similar thing with Deb. Tell her JI came home early found her drunk and the baby dead from JI shaking it earlier and he calls his GF and she comes to the home and takes dead Lisa. Deb goes along with them and says yep I saw him shake her.

LE would then use this division to try and break one of them into telling where the baby was because they really believe one of them know.

But say it doesn't work because neither one of them really know anything and all you end up with is a family destroyed further.

Wow, this isn't Italy - where have you seen this kind of thing done in the U.S.?

I'd like to bring this back to this one simplicity:

Detectives have some questions for Debbie and Jeremy to help locate Lisa. Now are they going to sit down (with an attorney present) and answer them or not?

BBM: I am "guessing" that D and J will not sit down with LE and answer more questions ... even with their attorney(s) present ...

IMO ... DB and JI and their attorneys are working on their "defense strategy" soooooo ... they are NOT going to let them be interviewed ...

If the parents are correct and an intruder that no one saw or heard took Lisa away from the home that night, how exactly is talking to LE repeatedly going to help? How is that going to find Lisa? The only way Lisa is going to be found after numerous interviews with the parents and the boys is if one of the parents or boys did something to Lisa.

LE has talked to the person that came and went that night and even searched her home. LE also took items out of her home during the search. However that didn't happen right after Lisa was reported as missing but was done several days afterwards. Just like bringing in a cadaver dog was done several days later. Just like checking into a vacant home 4 blocks away from where Lisa went missing was done several days later. I'm seeing a pattern here. LE wants the parent to do what they want immediately however LE themselves can wait several days before they follow up any leads and that could allow vital evidence to be destroyed.

If this were me, I would be LIVING at the police station doing whatever it took to help the police/investigators do whatever was needed to find my baby. They would get tired of seeing me. I would also be on any news station that would put me on tv begging for the return of my child.

They're not talking to local media....WTH? Wouldn't local media be able to help a lot too? They're not on tv begging for Lisa's return. If you have nothing to hide, you hide nothing.

And refusing to cooperate and answer questions, hiring a high powered defense attorney......VERY HINKY....

I must say that I was very disappointed to read the title of this thread. That's what I get for assuming things I guess. I assumed that the parents had been separated and interviewed by LE at the very first of this case. Now, I find that LE WANTS TO DO THIS NOW?????? Discouraging is what it is. This couple, if they had anything at all to do with Lisa's disappearance, have had all the time in the world to get their stories together.

You know, this is just me but I cannot fathom these parents not doing everything they can. Maybe I am neurotic, I dont know. I had 3 kids by the time I was 25. My oldest was in Iraq, every single day i would pray, God please take me, dont take him, he is young and has his whole life ahead of him. Take me instead.. My daughter, who has given me 2 beautiful grandkids, I prayed when she was pregnant, God please, dont let anything happen to my daughter, take me, dont let anything happen to my grandkids, take me.. My youngest son who is 21, had a major brain surgery, I prayed God take me, not him. Dont let anything happen to my kids. Nothing to my grandkids (I just found out I am going to be a grandma again, my oldest and his fiancee are pregnant).. If my kids were late coming home, I would be on the phone with them, or out looking for them, if my husband (second time around for me) is late coming home I call him to make sure he didnt break down or anything. These are caring things to me. When it comes to my kids, i am a Lioness.. Dont you dare touch my cubs, I dont care how old they are, God willing I am alive, when they are 100 years old, they will still be my cubs. I gave birth to them, I became a mother, they were my responsibility, they were mine to take care of for life. yes, you let them go but you are always there for them. I think to myself and i have asked other people too, that think DB is not guilty and all of the people I know and ask think she has gone about things wrong. All I can say is this..

Everything that I would have done in DB's case, she didnt and anything DB has done in this case I would never have.. I am sorry but IMO she is not a caring mother and plain guilty of whatever it is that happened to Lisa..
