Okay, because this is starting to annoy me, I won't be subtle anymore:

Unless we are talking about a firearm in the shrunken down sub in Fantastic Voyage, There's no such thing as .25 mm ammo.

You can have .25 caliber ammo. You can have 25 mm ammo, but conflating caliber and metric (ie, apples and oranges for measuring the size of a bullet) as .25 mm is simply ridiculous on the face of it.

Do you have any idea how small .25mm (25% of 1 millimeter) is?

So when I say it's prima facie wrong that ".25 mm ammo" was found, I'm not guessing.
Wasnt it found in the rental car she used to make her az trip? Her mom tipped the cops off!

I have a question ??
Ok she steals a 25 mm from grandpa?
She buys a 9mm?
Isn't a 9mm less powerful than 25 mm

Yeah, that's what I thought. Each boyfriend was a step up from the last. Travis certainly was her best shot yet at the gold ring. I think a lot of her anger was due to the fact that if she didn't get Travis, she'd have to find somebody new and start all over again. And, by God, she DESERVED that lifestyle.

O/T but what's for dinner tonight? Another shrimp boil? More ribs? I'm ready to astral project myself down to Texas as soon as the dinner bell sounds. :great:

I suspect she was going to continue stalking the target rich PPL hunting grounds. Couldn't really keep Travis around spreading "rumors" about her...

Supper tonight is mesquite smoked brisket, pork ribs, dirty rice and BBQ chicken for lunch after church
Made some BBQ sauce that turned out great (after many attempts)

thats how i feel, yeah im tired of the endless sidebars but i dont see her bias as another poster said last night.

she has been more than fair with both sides, which imo means there are no grounds for an appeal that way

are we taking bets yet on once juan starts how soon the first ojection/sidebar will be?

Seeing as how they generally start their day with a sidebar before anybody asks any questions at all, my bet in the pool is 1 second. :floorlaugh:

she dated a string of losers she could easily snow and then control. TA was the jackpot, in her mind. nice house, made good money, had very nice friends who adored him, etc.
i think her frustration over not being able to win him over completely and be 'the one' just drove her to what she did.

one thing i'm just sticking in here is that conversation she and TA had about marrying other people. that was so manipulative and yet her DT keeps bringing it up as evidence she didn't want to marry TA. what she was doing was making sure he understood that he wasn't going to find a freak in bed like her in the pool of nice mormon girls he was interested in. i've listened to that several times and it's clear as a bell to me what she's doing.

and those journal entries about there being something 'off' about him and all the reasons she didn't want to marry him? well, personally i think that and a LOT of these journal entries were written much later and are self-serving. i think a great deal of the journal evidence is completely fake.

Yeah! I think her attorney helped her embelish those journals. Your spot on! She thought Travis would realize that there werent other Mormon girls freaky like her! So obvious! I've heard it over and over too and come to the same conclusion.

Didn't RS mention someone by the name of Alan who was Jodi's first sexual (oral) encounter? I believe RS stated that Jodi had multiple sexual encounters with this particular guy starting at around 13, maybe?

Ooo... I can imagine 13 yo Jodi peeping in Alan's bedroom window, calling his Mom a 100 times a day asking, "Is Alan home?", passing Alan a never-ending stream of notes in class, slashing his bikes' tires, warning away rivals, etc. Poor Alan may have finally resorted to threatening her with a knife, which probably didn't work until she'd fixed on a new target.

Seeing as how they generally start their day with a sidebar before anybody asks any questions at all, my bet in the pool is 1 second. :floorlaugh:

As soon as he speaks his first words! :furious:

Damn, honey, I will be there! In spirit at least. I'm on a stupid sodium restricted diet and all these things are forbidden. :furious: On the other hand, you can come up here some time for blue crabs, our local delicacy. Although there's nothing delicate about it -- seriously messy eatin', and so expensive now we only indulge once a year. Smoke brisket, mmmmmmmm.

:rocker: I totally agree ... this is JMO, but I wonder IF she ever tried a murder case before ? This trial is way too much for lack of expertise, IMO !

I still do not understand WHY she did nothing about Jodi and her mit specialist "handing off" that notebook to Jodi's mother ...

:seeya: Anyway ... catch up with y'all later for updates ...

:great: I'm having a "parade party" today ... and no doubt we will be discussing the Arias Trial ... and other cases as well ... LOL !

:seeya:
Lordie this trial needs them some judge Judy! :furious:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

My husband and I went to the Death Museum in San Diego (now in L.A.) for our first date.

The museum is dedicated to serial killers and other psychotic murderers. They had original artwork from convicted killers, like John Wayne Gayce. Letters written from jail to girl friends, family, and others on the 'outside'. Original crime scene photos, police reports, diaries, and etc. The museum even had a set of the Heaven's Gate blue metal bunk beds.

We've been married 16 years and 10 months.

I'm more into this stuff than he is, but at least he doesn't think I'm weird for being a true crime groupie.

Reminds me of the time my husband and I took our 4 year old to Disneyland 4 months after the O.J. Simpson murders. We decided to fly into L.A. and rent a car and stay in Brentwood for one night so we could see the crime scene. We found Nicole Simpson's condo and the Rockingham estate and saw for ourselves how close the residences were, probably less than 2 blocks apart. Actually, it appeared there was a shortcut between their homes so O.J. wouldn't have even been visible from the street. This left no doubt in our minds that O.J. was guilty because his defense claimed he wouldn't have had the time to commit the murders, due to the long distance between their residences. This helped me realize how important it is for jurors to have the opportunity to view the scene of the crime in person.

I agree she would have continued to stalk the ppl men! She was determined to reel one in. She was already working on TA! Funny how she was so jealous and controlling! Stalking Travis! While at the same time! Being in daily contact with Ryan burns. Unbelievable.
Now she's showing her age! And her BIOLOGICAL CLOCK IS TICKING. TICK TOCK TICK TOCK.

Yesterday I got in a back-and-forth with somebody over Jodi, in her interrogation being with Det. Flores, asking to see some photos. Everybody kept calling them crime scene photos. I pointed out that what she wanted to see were the "inadvertent" photos taken at the time of the murder, not the photos taken by LE after Travis was found. I didn't really get anywhere. I'm convinced that people do hear you, but it's just not registering as far as typing -- like typing "here" when you mean "hear."

We will be down at the beach house the week after Easter and hopefully catch some blue crab in the traps! Cook some crawfish one day, fish fry another, and eat lots of shrimp! Enjoy your crabs, G&A

We are all sure eating better than Maricopa inmates...peanut butter and mystery meat stew

ITA especially the marrying other people convo. A master manipulator isn't going to be so obvious and say HE won't be able to find freaky girls.. She has to make it on her, to not find freaky Mormon men (which in my eyes would probably be easier to find than freaky Mormon girls? She was so unbelievable when she said he would be able to find freaky Mormon girls, I could almost feel her seething on the other line as she said it) to plant the seed in his head about the subject. She did it in a reverse kind of way to try and manipulate him, hopefully the jurors are able to figure it out!

Yes, and there seems to be nothing behind her eyes -- lifeless, no soul, no sweetness, none of the appealing things we like to see when we look into someone's eyes -- and I don't necessarily mean a love-sex type look, which definitely is a reason to look into a special person's eyes -- I mean the way you can see "something" in there, like when a good friend is smiling or making a joke or talking about his/her grandchild, or telling you a secret or telling you something sad, etc., etc. That special... je ne sais quoi that makes eyes so very special and memorable.... She prolly had it once when she was very young, but I don't think she's had it for a very, very long time. She has lost that along with her soul. JMHO.

I had a friend visit yesterday. He knows nothing about this case of even who Jodi Arias is. He looked at a picture (on a webpage I had open) and the first thing he said was "She has dead eyes" He said she looked hollow like she had no soul. Even people who have never heard of her have the same description of her! When I told him who she was and what she had done it didnt surprise him. He left saying he wished he had never seen her picture!

I don't know but I strongly suspect that MM knows a great deal about this crime. There was absolutely no reason for her to have called him as she was leaving Travis's house. The phone charger excuse is bull****.

The thought crossed my mind last night while I was watching (for the umpteenth time!) the Betty Broderick movie near the end of which she shoots and kills her ex-husband and his young wife. She makes a phone call to a friend and says, "I did it. I finally shot the son of a b*t*h!"

I think Jodi wanted - maybe even needed - to tell someone about what she had done to Travis, and MM seems like the most likely person. JA believed that MM was someone she could trust, and she apparently still thinks that he wouldn't betray her. That remains to be seen, of course, as it's possible that MM will be called to testify during the rebuttal case. :moo:

Don't forget she sang the "love bug bites" and I'm Back!"

You sound like my kind of person! I'm probably the only person in the US who knows next to nothing about the OJ trial. My husband was seriously ill at the time and I paid no attention. My one connection to that trial was that I later worked for someone whose brother lived nearby and referred to a dog giving a "mournful howl." He got interviewed LE, maybe even testified, and I remember was not a happy camper.
