I still think there is more than the forged pedo letters; I think he knows the "fognesia" because Jodi told him everything.

And, yes he's MIA.

It is my understanding based on my interpretation of hearings, closed hearings and court minutes, etc. that:
Victoria Washington, JA's previous atty filed a motion to withdraw (Dec 2011)due to issues with a possible witness MM, (She represented MM for a prior issue) after an Evidentary Hearing Aug 8-9 2011. Motion was granted. JA represented herself the 2nd time (Aug 8-15 2011) and the issue of the forged pedo letters claimed to be written by TA were being addressed (June 2010). A handwriting expert Rosemary Urbanski testified at a closed hearing.. Also, Jean C. reported, I can't remember her exact words but something to the effect, that apparantly JM told MM if he testified about the letters (which were i believe validated as forged by Rosemary Urbanski and were not originals so not admitted but are sealed) than JM would bring him up on perjury charges. (May 2011 Defendant's motion to compel re: Attempted Interrogation of MM) IMO, MM is the one who forged them. I also believe JA's coded message in the magazines, which was confiscated by jail guards, was to alert MM to tell HER story and not the truth in the upcomming hearing.
This dude had seemed to disapear off the face of the earth. Several ppl have noted he is nowhere to be found on the internet. No clue what he looks like. Gone into hiding i suppose. JA claims he would never betray her. Whether or nothe is called to take the stand or, if he does take the stand, he tells the truth or lies for JA.... is yet to be known. :fence:

I thought that attractive women were less likely to get the death penalty? I swear I heard something like that at the beginning of the trial, that JA was so beautiful and that it would be harder to convict her. So why is the DT uglying her up?? Do they pick her clothes or does the jail supply them? Regardless, there is no fixing her face... which has aged substantially. And those flashes of evil she gets! I wonder if she sits there thinking about how hot she is and how beautiful everyone probably thinks she is or if her confidence is gone and she knows she looks like crap.

The attorneys or family supply the clothes for the defendants to wear.

:dunno: Maybe she doesn't have a mirror in jail. lol

Don't know about you guys but I cannot stand HLN and even more so since Friday's fiasco at the courthouse.

I tried to watch that show on HLN, not sure which one it was, but it featured Jose Baez and it tried to recreate the crime scene. It came off as "tabloidy" to me, so I stopped.

I do like the Dr. Drew show, since it features Dr. Drew's jurors like Katie. She does a great job. She is honest and to the point. It's a shame the defense is so desperate that they tried to drag Katie into their mess. She didn't deserve that but I'm sure she has risen above!

Not sure but it was hilarious how defensive Jodi got when she answered that she called her sister "stupid, too." The bell rang for "Round One" after that!

The women on DR here could be considered attractive before arrest. Wendi Andriano lost a lot of that during her trial.....from the footage I have seen. No makeup or anything in jail, bad food, clothing likely comes from a donation bin, no hair products....

Ok, I'm about 10 pages behind and trying to catch up so forgive me if this has already been addressed! First, if MM is locked away somewhere else, wouldn't there be record of that somewhere?

Second...regarding the picture of JA's foot and TA's shoulder. Color me stupid, but I've looked at this pic a hundred times and I can't decipher anything in this picture. Is there a "breakdown" somewhere, or something I can look at with arrows or something?

Yes, there's some good ones over in the sequence of events thread. I can find one for you. I couldn't make out anything at first either. It's important to find a good quality pic.

Elle Elle I understand that you believe that ja needs lots of therapy.. And she may. Some therapy for sociopathy doesn't work in what is broken in her brain. Her brain appears to be wired differently. Defendants have plenty of rights.

Imo the money would be better spent on teens needing to be steered in better directions.

I also believe that the victims family should be able to get free therapy. This has been most brutal on them.

Curiosity sent me in search of the video in question. Did I hear right? She did say bobby hated jodi right? Than she goes on to sympathize for jodi.
The real victim as we all know was Travis. She cowardly stabbed him in the back,sliced and diced this man.
She took his life so it's only fair for her to give hers in return.

I've been staying away for awhile because AV's testimony is so boring. I missed the discussion of the emails from Skye Hughes. I believe they were telling Jodi that TA was abusive and to stay away from him.

If that's true, does anyone else think they were an attempt to scare Jodi away from Travis because nothing else worked? There's also the possibility they were forged.

I'd have to see them to be sure.
