Just an O/T question for the Mods. I don't know where else to post this. Some of my posts have been "eradicated" (lol). I'm not sure I understand. I DID, however make some "bold accusations" against HLN (including JVM, NG, DrDrew, and the After Dark program.

Just wanna know if I was out of line. I am a little green when it comes to posting on this board.

I want to respect the rules, which I have read, but I also need to know where to post questions ... I am somewhat confused. Please forgive me. I have so much respect for rules. I have so much respect for the posters here (and their intelligence).

Right at the end when the police woman went to escort her out, it seemed like maybe she caught Jodi trying to smuggle some paper back to her cell. I think the officer asked her where she hid it, and Jodi pulled it out of her pants. It happened real quick and not sure if that is what I just saw and heard.

I don't think they let them buy makeup. I was watching one of those lock-up programs the other day and this woman took grease off a door to use as eyeliner.

I've considered the possibility. Because:

1) She bought two cans of highly flammable (almost 50% alcohol) aerosol sunblock, a known fire hazard, since discontinued, at Walmart, along with the gas can.
2) The aforementioned gas can.
3) She could have set the fire and gotten out of town before the neighbors even realized there was a fire.
4) A fire, with his body burned in the shower, may have obscured his actual cause of death. Which would have gone a long way to absolve her of any suspected involvement in her death. As it was, everyone immediately suspected Jodi, beginning with the 911 call after his body was found.

She would have no way of knowing his body wouldn't be found until 5 days later. She must have been mystified it wasn't found sooner.

Guess that would be my fifth question to her. I'm saving them up!

I hope this isn't too far OT. I am so tired of hearing reporters on TV say that there is a lot of attention being given to this case because of the attractive defendant (barf) and all the sex talk. How can they get that so wrong??? The reason I'm watching this trial so closely is because of the horrendous death that young man suffered and wanting to see justice for him and his family. After the nightmare of the CA verdict, I think I'm also hoping for a fair verdict to renew my faith in our justice system.
Personally, I couldn't give two hoots about all the sex talk and JA isn't one bit attractive IMO. When I see her, I see cold and empty eyes.

This is such an excellent point. I began watching this trial from day 1 for the sole reason of the sheer brutality of the crime. The 29 stab wounds by a woman brought me to this case and that was the only reason.

The sex testimony was a shocking surprise to most of us here and was unexpected. A lot of us almost fell out of our chairs when all the sex talk and pictures started happening. It had nothing at all to do with why a lot of us were here to begin with.

And I think its fair to say most of us could have done without the sex pictures.

It would depend on if it was available in the jail's store/commissary. Casey Anthony wore a little make-up, but that was in FL.

I was watching the videos on nancy grace, although I've seen them so many times, I still cannot get over her demeanor and immaturity, shes just so annoying
She definetely has aged alot in the last five years. I've seen grown men break down and cry during interrogation, but not this cool cucumber.

What a sociopath, Ughhhh total frustration to listen to.

Her vanity!is why I ask about the makeup. Doesn't look like she is wearing makeup in court.
Maybe just maybe this trial will end in the next month, or so.and Jodi will be be transported to her new home on death row.

So Nurmi has filed Prosecutor misconduct and Juror misconduct, what's next - judge misconduct or can he file a misconduct against himself? JA is guilty and the sane majority of the world knows it. I almost pity him for having to had to stay on this case. He should just decide to lose gracefully now!

Its possible that may have been part of her plan. The purchases of that sunblock has always bothered me. There is something about that purchase that seems so strange. I know some people think it could have been just because she was planning on going on the Cancun trip. But who would buy 2 cans. It is so strange.

Maybe when she was reminded of the dog being there, she could not bring herself to burn up the place and then went with trying to clean it up instead and put him in the shower.

Anything is possible with that crazy person. She reminds me of the Aetronaught lady that drove a whole bunch of miles in diapers to kill her rival at the airport in Florida.

That would be PERFECT and it'd get this trial moving! And juror questions come after that, we’ll see if Alyce's irrelevant te$timony goes poof into dust or if anyone bought the snake oil.
Then it's Juan-time! I think he'll easily discredit all things defense during rebuttal and closing, and the jury will see defendant as the scorned obsessive stalker & raging premeditating lying killer that she is. And then jury will make defendant go poof.

That sure would get it going and hope he does exactly that. I also think this Matt M has some important stuff he needs to say. Maybe he did help her (only in getting rid of the gun, knife, bloody clothes, rope etc) If he did help her by getting rid of it, I am sure she told him what really happened and he knows more than Jodi wants told, Maybe just maybe he has told where it all was disposed. All to in sure his freedom if he talks. Boy that would cook her goose for sure. Remember Martinez does not have to show all his hand at the beginning. Could prove interesting.:great:

Wow. I noticed today, after watching HLN review the trial, how poorly JA is aging. I'm sure some of it is on purpose (the weight loss maybe?), but she really does look awful.

I wonder how much of tomorrow the good judge will allow Nurmi and his Sarah Palin look-alike to waste on this mistrial BS. I have the DVR set to record but I have a feeling I'll be falling asleep during his long slow talking narrative of why JA should be set free b/c of something juror #5 may or may not have said.

When i listened to the recap of Jean Casorus (sp?) statement on HLN it showed me he did not pay much attention to details.
