why did the police leave the apartment without doing a thorough search?!

You don't have to be good to make money at it. For every person that likes their lovers to participate, there's another person out there that doesn't want their partners to move that much. Makes it harder to make the fantasy in their head real. Don't assume that just because he wasn't the kind of lover that appeals to "normal" people doesn't mean that he doesn't have 5 or 6 extremely good clients that frequent him for exactly the reason that most of us would write him off as a bad lover. Not that it's what I'm into, but we all have preferences, and some of them are just weird.

Another thing...Other posters are what makes WS great, and I see how some, especially if they doubted the reality of the video, could see it as a presentation of art. It doesn't mean that the poster sees it as artistic or beautiful, but rather that they can see something besides death, and that they can see through the shock and horror of the subject material. Most of us can't, but I for one, am grateful that we have posters that can supply other perspectives, instead of "OMG, that's horrific/terrible/demonic/sickening," a thousand times.

Most overseas flights on the larger planes fly out of Toronto, so a small jet leaves from here (Montreal) and then you pick up your overseas flight in Toronto.

Would you have to check in again? It looks like he is doing the initial check in. I would think he is in Paris because of the sightings and the ping on his phone. But it would be good to have confirmation. In the US they are very careful to check ID and tickets (since 911). Is that true of Canada, too? I have never flown in or out of Canada.....but drove last summer and they were careful at the borders.

i was looking at one of the known ones and just happened to see that someone had liked it or is following it...i clicked on it and a crap load of pics of him with a little blonde boy and a blonde woman...but not the pregnant woman...

who are these people in his life and why are they not coming forward??? are they embarassed to admit they had been in his life???? are they dead???

I have seen several people mention the fact that they are somehow disturbed or upset with themselves because they seem to feel more outrage at what he did to the kittens than what he did to the human.

First I understand when you express that sentiment you ARE NOT saying that you are OK with what happened to the human and ONLY upset about the kittens, surely you feel repulsed and angry about what he did to the human, but for some strange reason you seem to feel MORE of these emotions when it comes to the kittens.

I have had this discussion before I will share my opinions and conclusions.

The reasons are likely many and varied for this, but here are a few that I will share.

First, we are taught to distance ourselves from other humans we do not know, we are taught at a young age not to talk to strangers etc, so therefore we are not attached to people we do not know and as a result we dont have an EMOTIONAL ATTACHMENT to them nor an EMOTIONAL INVESTMENT IN THEM, so when something like this happens, YES IT MAKES US ANGRY and we hurt for the victim but it is a different kind of hurt and anger than we feel when someone hurts a kitten because with animals we do not detach, we love our own little kitties as much as the ones we see in pictures thousands of miles away, we are not told not to detach from stray dogs or cats or those that belong to others, when we are children, like we are with humans. This is one reason why we feel more emotionally invested in what happened to the kittens than what happened to the human, and of course this doesnt apply to everyone, only those of us who are true animal lovers and for whom animals often mean more to us than people, often for obvious reasons as our animals dont hurt us like the people around us do.


Another reason for this IMO, is that the kittens are INDEFENSIBLE BEINGS, in short what he did to those was PICKING ON SOMEONE MUCH SMALLER AND INDEFENSIBLE than he was, what we call NOT A FAIR FIGHT, and that pisses us off, that is what we call BULLYING and we tell such people to pick on someone (or something in this case) YOUR OWN SIZE! The kitties had no chance to defend themselves against such a monster WHEREAS HUMANS DO, yes humans can be drugged and taken against their own will but generally speaking the human is not indefensible against another human and the kitties MOST DEFINITELY ARE. Now if he had tried this crap with an AFRICAN LION I dont think that I, personally, would be as outraged as I was with the KITTENS even though I DETEST ALL ANIMAL ABUSE, basically because AT LEAST THEN it would be a FAIR FIGHT and he is picking on something THAT HAS THE ABILITY TO FIGHT BACK and probably even has an EDGE WHEN IT COMES TO BEATING HIM (or eating him, in the case of the lion).

In short I dont think there is anything wrong with you if you feel more outraged at what he did to the poor little innocent indefensible kittens who DID NOTHING TO BE PUT IN THAT SITUATION whereas oftentimes we humans DO MAKE STUPID DECISIONS TO PUT OURSELVES IN POSITIONS OF RISK AND DANGER, the kitten is not able to consciously do so. There is nothing wrong with you at all, in fact if you felt OTHERWISE I would wonder more about you.

I agree, there is BIG MONEY in prostitution even for those who may not seemingly be that attractive, there is just big money and you can make a lot in a little bit of time, I have no doubt that Luka made some good money selling his *advertiser censored*, <modsnip>.

Belongings of murder suspect Luka Magnotta found in Paris hotel: reports

The Montreal Gazette reports that the manager of a cafe in the French capital says accused killer Luka Magnotta had a drink in his bar on Thursday.

The cafe manager is reported to have told Paris police about the sighting, which has not been verified by French authorities.

Meanwhile, there are reports that French police have found items in a Paris-area hotel that they believe may belong to murder suspect Luka Rocco Magnotta, according to Agence-France Presse.

Personally, I don't think it is a wig based on the video evidence (long bangs in shadow on the wall when he was bent over)... HOWEVER - that does not mean that he might not have worn one during it or even after. He could be dressed as a male or female AND for all we know he could have a shaved head at the moment.

you do have a point...everybody has a "type" and a "preference".....and what i prefer may not be what you prefer.....so in the case of this there is always someone out there who will find him as perfect in whatever it is they are looking for *vomit*

so performance and size may mean a lot to some while not a lot to others....

This and the line from another article about him just "looking for love" haunted me last night. It's not fair.

MOO, I think they met on Craigslist. I don't believe the "relationship" was more than 1 date because it's readily apparent to people who meet Luka that he's insane. Lin's friends didn't know Luka and no one at Luka apartment had seen Lin before. Either they met once previously and Lin rejected him or that was the first time. It would be easy enough to put out an ad, meet up with him after work for a drink, and slip his liquid morphine into Lin's drink. Then he could basically lead him back to the apartment while Lin was half out of it.

BTW since Luka likes to copy other killers-- how did the Craigslist killer work? I never followed the case, is this what he did?
