I am thinking he will probably never see the inside of a trial court...this is the kind of guy that will go down in a blaze of glory, suicide by cop likely.

I tend to agree but we are talking about Canada here, the prisons there are notoriously cushy, they have a much more relaxed lifestyle there than in most prisons stateside, its not like he will be doing hard time in Texas or Arizona.

But still, I agree he isnt going to like prison no matter where it is. I could definitely see him ending his life when the gig is up.

All evidence including his net history should be documented if for no other purpose than for posterity. Future generations will appreciate our efforts in doing so. So finding things about him and documenting them is OK, going to YT and FB and calling him names, questioning his manhood etc is NOT ok and very well may give him the fuel he needs to go and hurt someone else.

I think he'd love a trial. He's already setting up his reasonable doubt. Of course, there is none. But he seems to think that he's done quite the bangup job in that dept. lol Hopefully, the cops will just find an excuse to take him out as soon as they lay eyes on him.

I'm not sure that's such a good idea. He's expressed interest in kidnapping people to keep them alive and torture them or making them live in cages. He is quite fond of the character Frank from criminal Minds, who I think might was one of the ones that liked to keep live victims, as well as leave dead ones... I think it would be better for him to have an "accident" after all of his home bases and any hiding places have been carefully searched. I think that it's possible that he is having so much fun crossing genres that he might have a live victim somewhere. I'm not putting anything past him. He's crazy, but not insane. And he's stupid but lucky, which I think is a bad combo.

Also him, same hat. read all about his friends with kids and how he locks the kids and pets together on the "third floor" so that he and the other adults can have private time (not written in a way that sounds bad, it just sounds bad in any context with him). Read about his desire and drive to have his own children in the near future. I think I'm going to be sick.

im sure LE will do whatever they can to capture him ALIVE. a dead suspect cannot provide information to other crimes they may have committed. they need him alive so they can interrogate the crap out of him....

seems his only weapon is luring gullable naive weak people and probably drugging them...he doesnt seem to be "armed & dangerous"....he may pull out his icepick and wave it around like a little girl, but me thinks he isnt a gun man....

I have no idea why but any time i think of this guy an image of Ryan Jenkins pops into my head. The guy who dismemberd Fiorio and ran from the law, hid himself in a hotel room and ended up hanging himself with his own belt from the coat rack.

He doesn't seem to like Americans.On some of his false profiles, he flips out if someone confuses him with an American, and insists that he's not.

LRM's immediate needs are food, shelter and the ability to stay out of sight. Have not seen where he has a steady source of money to rely on to get by.

I'm wondering if he obtained employment on-line before the killing as a place to run to - a resort, camp or even a cruise ship. These types of jobs would meet his immediate needs.

Yes, but it references a J Mackellar. He's clearly a key part of the investigation and could be harbouring Luka.

That video was already removed. I wonder if police are on it and ensuring that everything he posts is quickly removed. That is one thing that would trigger him into anger ... not being able to perform for an audience ... so he'll keep trying to upload info until he makes a mistake and is tracked through IP addresses.

Still catching up on this thread. So my apologies if this has been mentioned. For some reason, it occured to me LE should pose as a Luka sympathizer. I think that would lure him into getting more caught up in posting leading to capturing him quicker.

This guys so caught up in himself, maybe he'd make a mistake if he believed he really held the captive audience he's seeking.

I could be wrong as I am no expert in these area's. It's just a thought which crossed my mind.

And btw, imo, Luka, whatever his name is, is uglier than hell, imo. He's no pretty boy. His features remind me of a puny HS aged boy who hasn't yet reached his growth spurt. In fact, who Luka reminds me of are a few burn out/biker types who were scrawny wanna be's in HS and ended up in the circles of burn out's because no one else would have them.

He's a fool and a sick depraved fool at that.

I'm betting he'll go out by suicide by cop when cornered. And I don't think many will care that he doesn't make it through the typical justice system as long as he can't harm anyone else. That is a 1st for me since joining WS. It would mean nothing to me if he was taken out. Not.one.iota.

And on May, 2012 someone gets murdered with an icepick and the main suspect is Luka Magnotta, the icepick was also used as a murder weapon in the movie Basic Instinct.

I've got a bit of a leap going on with this post, but ... yesterday I found a listing for a KH (just the initial K, not Karla) in Hamilton where Audrey Gleave was killed in some horrific fashion (one of the worst Hamilton LE had seen in years). I was merely toying with the idea that such a shocking crime might be associated with someone like LRM. Now am a bit more curious due to the amazinggrace1 user name, as Amazing Grace was the last email received by Audrey Gleave's friends before she was found dead.

With his interest in serial killers and gore, it is likely that LRM has been following some of the more sensational cases, so his amazinggrace1 nick could be totally coincidental or another shock value tool used by his messed up mind in his attempt to impress. I did however just want to put it out there for something to keep in mind as we sleuth the flippin' universe on this alien.
