Louis D. Coleman III: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know


Louis D. Coleman III is in custody in connection with the kidnapping of Jassy Correia, who was last seen at the Venu Nightclub in Boston in the very early hours of February 24. A statementfrom the Boston Police Department on February 28, said that Coleman, 32, was wanted “in connection to the kidnapping” of Correia, 23, a resident of Lynn, Massachusetts.

A wanted alert was sent out by the Boston Police Department on February 28. A few hours later, it was announced that Coleman had been taken into custody in Delaware.

Shortly after Coleman’s arrest was announced, authorities said that Correia’s body was found in the trunk of the suspect’s car.

Friend of Jassy Correia tells me: “I’m just praying that she comes home and she’s safe." She doesn't recognize the Providence man last seen with Correia. Active police scene at the Providence apartment now.

Jassy Correia didn't return to pick up her 2-year-old daughter. She didn't go to work at a Boston restaurant. She hasn't responded to calls or texts from friends & family. Silence since she left the Boston nightclub early Sunday with a man. Her 23rd birthday was Tuesday.

A resident of the building says Louis Coleman lives on the sixth floor. Nothing out of the ordinary about him. He’s “surprised, shocked” by news that Coleman is a suspect in kidnapping.
