In no way am I placing blame upon the women for this man's criminal behavior. However, I do think it's time to clean up Craig's List. Any responsible adult knows what's being advertised as a massage. Why is this on a site that can be accessed by children and families?

Maybe this series of events will draw attention to it and people will become more aware.
 
This article (about the suspect's high school years) included this random paragraph:

"Markoff exhibited bizarre behavior while in a Hub jail cell after his arrest, at one point shoving wads of toilet paper down his pants. Police asked him what he was doing and he told them he was keeping the tissue clean in case he had to use it later, a source said."

Any sleuths here have any idea what this behavior/action might be indicative of?
 
Heck, in the Personals section they just call sex, sex. You can advertise for M-M, M-F, F-F or threesomes. I don't see why they need that on an otherwise nice site.

Hey, I used to live in Nashvegas. I miss the warm southern summer nights. I love the dry climate and sunny weather here, but the nights are always colddddd.

So, is it common knowledge that a Craig's List-type "masseuse" carries a good amount of cash with them? How would he know that? Is it because they have probably come from another appointment? Do they need to make change?

Also...his shirt sleeves in the arraignment picture crack me up because they are so short. It almost looks like it isn't his shirt.

I hope the fiancee isn't another Karla. On one hand, I feel for the girl, if she truly is an innocent victim, but, her comments about a cop setting this up to make money seem bizarre at best. I would think an innocent victim would just express shock or shut up. Interesting to see what develops.

IMO he arranged to meet them late...after midnight if I heard correctly. You figure these girls would not get a room for one appointment. I'm sure they do their "services" for the day there. He made sure he was close to the last, if not the last appt.

Bolded by me - YES!!!! I had said that on the previous page. That is exactly who he reminds me of when he's NOT smiling.
 
Phillip's personality sounds remarkably like the Porco kid who murdered his father and mutilated his Mom. All American boy,arrogant,relatives all in disbelief.
He had money issues too.
The sociopath personality never ceases to amaze me.

OMGoodness. I thought the same thing. I was gonna post the same thought when I read yours. Something about the structure of his face and the eyes (seems like they are far, far away..so did Dahmer) and he looks arrogant. His breathing in the close up shots of him in court....you can see its rapid. He's really squirming inside, but is hiding it with that look.
 
Where does spoiled rich kid come in? His mom works in a casino gift shop and he went to SUNY. This doesn't sound like rich kid to me...
