dont be adding text to the thing just yet!!!!!!!!!!

It truly an amazing aid. I'm on my cell or I'd grab some of article and post up some info.

They found one body that had been in a lake for over a hundred years!
I was very impressed by their compassion, as well as their level of professionalism.
The guy is anot environmental specialist. I don't he would invent a tool that would muck up the waterways?

I have a sonar device for fishing and it is amazing to be able to see underwater structure.

Mine is a basic one. The newer sonar devices are just amazing and can show really good pictures of the bottom of the water. The water doesn't have to be totally clear because the sonar will bounce sound waves to produce the images but it probably helps if it is not too murkey. The divers are the ones that need to have the water clear for sure. They like to be able to see where they are diving so they can find what they are looking for and so they don't get snagged or hurt.

I'm nearly positive that's the Nashua Street Park. Isn't it pretty? William Hurley drowned there after a Bruins game. And an elderly homeless woman more recently--I can't even find an article about her.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I generally am not a big conspiracy theorist, but i still don't fully believe William Hurley ended up in there all on his own...

ops time expired- try again and just be quicker this time around!!! Thats funny!

Hello Cariis,
I'm getting a kick out of your Snapchat posts because I had the same reaction to it.

Heres a snap for you......"Hello. This message will self destruct in 5 seconds. GoodBye"

:) :) :)

also, i from what i've seen the alcohol is mostly craft beers. which to plenty of folks is a hobby. we love craft beers and brew our own... if posting a picture of yourself with a craft beer is definitive evidence one has a drinking problem, i guess my husband and i best get ourselves to AA?

It was not just "that"! Dad referring to "issues", cousin more than once needing to state he only had three to the media. imo

That just hit me as a system that hasa suffered with some of his issues. If you read his stuff there is a lot euphric recall in them. Wishing, longing to be altered, and fond memories of doing it or remembering last time he was

That classic --while the highlighting of "he is doing good NOW", to , was telling.

And finally, the need for most family members to highlight he is in=school full time,AND has a full time job, struck me again as a family that suffered thro addiction with a loved one .

It also hit me as he had tried and struggled to "stop" before --euphric recall is pretty much only evident when trying to stop -- its recollections of "great" time while altered, and logical as it relates to relapse.imo

If you think about it noone would have fond memories about burning your hand--but the other side of euphric recall is minimizing all the negative consequences experinced while being altered.

It was not just a instant thought - it was slowly getting the psycosocial as time passed

Dad statement just come home we wont ask you any questions also hit me , asw in the past, coming home, and being grilled -- how many did you have, what else were doing, etc etc

a parent on air broadcasting to his missing son that we wont ask any questions, is totally incongruent -- if someone you love vanished - you would not have a ton of questions if they returned. imo

That part sounded like he was pleaing to his son - again indicative of a family struggle with someone that has addiction history

In addition the giving up of looking for him , made me think the family system has experinced "stuff" like this before. If there had not been a history of "stuff" like "this " before most folks would call LE pretty instantly if for nothing else he did not have a coat and cop cars BOLO him would increase the liklihood of him not being in water now, a cop on BOLO, would def notice someone without a coat, and that would have been included in the report.
iom
I tend to beleive, that other humans passed him that night, but assumed he was homeless casue of dress and drove right by

IMOIMOIMOIMO

Oh sh#t can you please get that to me ASAP - cant live without it--hurry mom dont be late

not only is it scary this nonsense goes on -- but think about it, someone has to come with the idea (I wanna put puke on whatever the user wants ) cheery start right from the get go

and then DESIGN a thing that regurtates on anything, anywhere, anytime, and at any location, on any day ,on any phone to anybody oh joy!

It called, "playing", being silly and creative.

Not everything in life has to have some huge, deep, meaningfull purpose!

I love SpongeBob! Sue me. And yes I Do The Whip and the Nay Nay!

I'd bet that they drove from Southie, since there's no T train out that way plus it was so cold.

Which means that the car was probably parked at one of the nearby garages to Faneuil Hall. It's easy to forget which one you've parked at (I've done that and I was sober and I'm local to the area!). I just wish that Zach had picked one of the garages to hang out in, but if wishes were horses... :(

there's the red line. i don't know if it even matters, but i figured they all met at the cousin from southie's place and took the T in, planning to grab an Uber home (since cabs on a weekend after last call are impossible to find).

that would jive to me with his walk to a train station, although he didn't go to Bell in Hand from North station, so it's impressive to me that he manages to make it there in whatever hypothermic state he was in.

such a tragic chain of events...

What if he had been alone at the bar and had checked his coat and had stepped out for a smoke? If they didn't want to let him back in, he did deserve to retrieve his own coat - his property. Wow. Even if he were kicked out (not saying that he was) he STILL had a right to his checked coat. Is anyone else enraged? It sounds like a big eff you from some dumba$$ at the door.

If that is true my entire huge family tree, needs a massive intervention. Maybe I should schedule one for the next family reunion!

Honestly, Zack had about 39 Instagram pics posted total! And a hand full of Facebook posts, most of those were from years ago.
Not really much at all.

Hey thanx to you all first time I went to a Instagram. Statements like "Ineed a job"
there were also some very fascinating ones regarding "girls" typical for age - but there was a angry slant to them .

Some that I recall off hand paraphrasing -- why cheat if you dont like em anymore leave - good advice!! There was one that was scary regarding girls.

again teen stuff but in a whole picture,

I totally think that if his "issues" ever disclosed addiction is the "issue". He also had a tough time in school
as reported by dad ( which IMO is why the mention of college meant so much to dad)

now I will probably get neg responses, thats ok, but that is just how I got to where I am !

at my wedding a drunk cousin apparently tried to walk from boston back home to brooklyn... so maybe there is a point where walking home seems logical?

I just looked at how far my husband walked that time he was drunk (also at a wedding!), and walked home. 10 miles. Totally doable but he was miserable when he got home. I still think Zach probably thought he could catch a train.

When searching in water lots of factors come into play. Each time you send a diver in, they are at risk. Water temperature, churn, and recent rains can make the area a risk. It is clear that Zach is dead (so very sorry and sad to hear this) and it is important to not have another tragedy in this.

I am not sure what is necessary for the best side sonar images but i would think that stirred up and murky water are hard to work with. We have had storms and run off lately.

They said divers can only see 12" in front of them.............

I think why this thread has busy is becasue it breaks our hearts.

I just shudder to think, he was so cold, comes from a small town where he know every place

scared

was cold so i doubt there were a lot of taxis

from what you all have described he was getting more and more off the track, into industrial stuff , that is creepy and scary

fears of getting robbed

getting colder

the more he walked keeps gatting darker more confused

then (i dont know if this is the right order) sees a train station, ah I am safe, then gets there and its closed, well he hope once he saw it if that is what happened

then he is right back to being in middle of nowhere, alone totally clueless, by this point I would think (well actually by this I would just sit down and cry)
The only place we differ is I think he was looking for a place , after all these stessers in his life, might as well just "do it"

Very rarely (except psycotics / schizophrenics) is suicide impulsive - it is actually a person battling for years "not to do it" and then the hopelessness just hits.........

yeah, i agree. my guess is he was planning to hop a train. its possible that the station was locked and he thought he could walk along the tracks since they were what brought him there? i don't even know. none of it makes sense to me. but i am not alone, confused and potentially freezing to death.

i am not as young as i used to be, but i am not so old that my Faneuil experience is completely removed from what its like to go out there now. five years ago, this could have been someone i knew.

here's hoping they find him soon.

So all these group things vanish quicker than a blink or two of an eye as well??

Unless I am missing something its just sounds flst out dumb, tell em to practice spelling/ typing or they are gonna end up like some poster on WS!!!

FYI My husband and I, also, use snapchat. It's not just for idiots and illiterates.
We are both highly educated. As for my kids, they are all adults and advancing their educations in top universities.

Like Safe said in her post, sometimes it's just lighthearted fun. Just because some use it for inappropriate pics...doesn't mean everyone does.

Don't knock it. You never know.

what was the temp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The cousins statement "He was stressed....but happy" can not be accurate. He just lost a huge part of his life. The week before dad described talking to him on the phone. He was sitting in his dead gmo home - "just sitting" in there.

How , to anyone , that does not indicate , to anyone, this . kid. was. devastated, by her no longer being there as a support system is just IMO not grasping the intensity of where he was.

Personally I would not go. Knowing while you are out Friday that the plan is to go tomm and discard grandmas life, in that state of mind............................nope cant grasp the anguish this poor kid was experinceing.

Throw that in with freezing to death alone no way out people do get to the "sucumbing" place
imoimoimo!

sad............

I think he could have been devastated by his grandmother's death and still been happy with his life (in general.) I didnt' say that well, but you know what I mean.
If he was seriously effected by the thought of clearing out his GM's home, someone else should have been asked to do it. imo.

Snap chat is more complex than just sending quick photos that disappear. There's also a "my story" aspect which you can add things to. Each snap stays up for about 24 hours. It's a way to see what your friends are up to in real time and feel like you are experiencing it with them. It's possible that he added the snapchat to this function as well - not just a snap to his cousin which would delete in 3 seconds or so.

The "deleting" thing is less about sending secret messages and more about not cluttering phone with lots of photos or cluttering your other profiles with pointless things you want to share in the moment.

Then there must be millions of seriously disturbed teens on Facebook. Have a look at any random teen/young adult page and behold the Drama.

Seriously CARIIS. I don't know for a fact, that Zach didn't have any addiction issues. There is simply no way we can say we know him better than his family.

I personally don't post anything on facebook related to drinking, It kills a lot of people. So I don't go there. Some can use recreationly,
but I feel it is a massive societal problem that contributes to so much pain, suffering and violent death...

It's unbelievable to me how we just accept that, but yell and scream for gun reform.

Don't take my word for it, just work a Friday night shift in the ER. and see for yourself.
It was even a factor that brings us all here sadly...

There are no easy answers...
Human beings are emotional, mercurial and complex. I don't think we can sum up a life story just because we read a brief epilogue.
