First hand knowledge, that is interesting!
After reading up a bit on the case last night I would agree with you.
I will leave 1% open for other suspects though, just in case.
Yeh my partner's sis lived next to them Mijas Costa and they used to drink in the bar she was running, met them twice before then had drinks and dinner with A & D after :( poor little girl had no home life at all, anyways we can rule out CB me thinks.

Thanks, Shark. I tried my best. Where does that info come from that she left her kids with CB?

This info is from my notes from my pre WS time when providing sources wasn't necessary. I can see I was discussing this with Janosch on the 24th June, so the article would be pre-date that. It was someone from Foral that mentioned it but I'm not sure if it was the same person that talked about the dodgy mates. I'll have a dig.

If you use the search function on the upper right corner, you'll find out what we have discussed about Lina in the past.
(Not that I don't want to help you right now, but this is the best option at the moment. :))

Thank you and Mendel!

Not much about Lina

Herr Wolters to Mirror, June 14, 2020:

"This is the evidence we want before we issue an arrest warrant and then interview him for the murder. It would help the case against him — but we would also need more evidence."

The 30-minute phone call police hope will finally solve Madeleine McCann mystery

So essentially, back to and, in fact, never moved forward from the sheer unlikelihood of the caller coming forward, discussed at length on previous threads!

Just to recap, if this phonecall was an innocent one (ie. not concerning MM) and the caller knew themselves to have no knowledge of and nothing whatsoever to do with MM's disappearance, then s/he would surely have come forward by now? Since s/he hasn't, the logical conclusion is that it was and is someone who has no interest in opening themselves up for scrutiny.

What will Wolters do if this caller never comes forward? Will he never issue an arrest warrant? Never interview CB? Shrug and say 'Well, we tried but...'?!

The German Police will first arrest a suspected Pedeophile before carrying out any search warrants. This way others cant be warned or evidence destroyed including their price possessions their cell phone. Apparently a lot of information is being kept on their cell phones like contacts, chats along with pictures and videos. Does anyone know if he had a cell phone on him when he was last arrested either in Portugal or in Italy?

Problem here is 13 years. Caller may not even recall they had that number. Caller may have died. Caller can be abroad and unaware of this. Caller may not wish to expose for any reason, relate or unrelated to MM's case.

Welcome, ET.

I had none in Italy. I think he had none in Portugal as he pretended to make a call with a packet of cigarettes.

Thanks for the question as I couldn't know if CB smoked but now I remembered this.

Welcome, DS.

Great post.

Looks like smoking gun evidence is on the way.

"When I reveal it you will fall off your chair".

This is a little bit sinister:

"I'm confident this case will not go to court and the British media will lose interest in my client."
Certainly a very bold statement, to say the least (seems I’m always saying the least despite reading every post here haha)

Exactly, all those possible things, for all those possible reasons (apart from caller being unaware though, Mendel, which I think is a bit unlikely unless they're living so off-grid that all this has passed them by.)

Hi Dsheal,

My first response was 'it's the Sun' and it would be remiss (and hypocritical) of me not to do so since I do it all the time with Sun links since it's absolutely not a reliable source of anything...

...but then, I see they're direct quotes from Fulscher which imply (even the Sun has to comply with this basic journalistic standard) exact words spoken by him. I wonder did he speak directly to the Sun or have they taken his words from elsewhere? Google tells me nothing enlightening.

I know it's labelled as an exclusive but it sounds more like it's come from somewhere else - German media, maybe? - and the Sun has packaged it as theirs. But if it was actually theirs, I think they'd have made sure to include 'told the Sun'. Which they haven't.

It's very interesting, nevertheless.

The plot certainly thickens.

Going round in circles...

Probably I'm missing important info here, but was there any real development regarding the ID of the caller of that mysterious call?
Is it really "impossible" to track down the ID/location?
Would this be dependent on PJ's support?

Too many things becoming too complex...

Good find Pixie.
I was just to say that NF was a "go-go dancer" at the casino or perhaps also something else.
Based on the latest Sexta9;

Possibly offering extras to special casino clients. Do we know which Casino she worked at? Wasn’t CB associated with a Casino?

Last night Busching said: "I don't give a **** what [his] lawyer says. [Christian B] is guilty."

All good stuff, time to get the popcorn in :D

Hey Sharkbite where did HB say this??

Edit: found it thank you!
