I spoke of submarine's yesterday and someone posted that they do not go down that far.
WELL.....there must be a way to go down further, we know they do study the ocean and they do go down further.
So I dont know....if they will.

IMHO - they are just fishing....To keep us all somewhat satisfied.
I believe some know more then is said.

It was when someone mentioned on the news that freight containers used to ship goods across the ocean are the same size as the image when my hope diminished. They added that containers are frequently lost during transit. ???
For years I was an export coordinator (mainly doing paperwork for ocean freight) and can't recall hearing about one container ever being reported lost. I remember typing up insurance certificates but had nothing to do with arranging insurance policies so maybe there were incidents that never got back to me.

A very small percentage. Not so common.

MH370 Indian Ocean find would raise likelihood pilots were incapacitated and plane was flying on autopilot: expert

Why though I wonder?
Why the preprogramming mystery and the U-turn heading west back over Malaysia?
The ultimate crashing could be a result of something going wrong in the midst of a hijacking attempt or one pilot trying to defend against the other.

One thing though, finding the plane would be the beginning to finding the answers if possible.

I agree and I understood every word you said because I have rants just like that. :)

I just googled to find google earth. :floorlaugh:

But after that... it goes right over my head.

Im with you there. I cant even find Google Earth on my PC...LOL

We need GPS Coordinates of where they supossedly spotted that debris. It is my understanding that Austrailia news did not provide GPS coordinates of where the debris was spotted.

Are the GPS coordinates known today? If we had a current satelite view, we could go try to find it using coordinates but images would have to be recent.

Unless maybe the objects are somehow stationary and not part of the plane wreck.

I'm baffled too. It sounds like the norm to lose containers on big trips. Anyone put in a claim for lost containers in that part of the world? If not my logic says it's the plane.

And my question is: did it really fly to 45K feet, or is that a bad data point? I'm very curious (and skeptical) about it.

I have reached the point of believing all are deceased, which helps to alleviate this stomach ache I've had since this happened. But the loved ones aren't going to have any peace until they know for sure that it went down or got parked somewhere.

Why has the 45,000 to 20,000 descent never been put into the timetable here? Have I missed that? When did that happen? After they turned, before, or after they went through 3 checkpoints?

Have I just missed that in the threads? Can someone repeat what is FACT? (or presented as lastest *cough* fact)

TIA

I may be the minority, but, i completely understand the minimal or lack of info to the general public. It is a matter of national/int'l security and not everyone has good intentions in this world. We are on a need-to-know basis, as, IMO it should be.

Thanks. I also found this link that seems to show how to use the GPS coordinates to enter them and find the Maps. But of course we need those coordinates of the pieces and I havent seen where that info was released.

I can tell you that we have been in (family) business for forty years. We import from all over the world. Some 80 ft but mostly smaller. Never. Ever. In 40 years...have we lost a container. We bring in at least 10 a month. It is NOT common. :moo:

Okay I found Australia but I am still not seeing debris...
I even found the spot it's "supposed" to be located at... and still don't see it.
(Google Earth with location pinpointed at the bottom of this article.)

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-officials-hone-satellite-signals-engine.html

Maybe someone who can get it to work can take a screen shot of it.
(I don't see a link option on Google Earth.)
I also don't see a date on the Google Earth pictures...
