do you know where I can watch this?

I only have these two links http://news.sky.com/templates/watch-live or http://english.astroawani.com/videos/live astrowani is not an English speaking station but the press conference will be shown in English when it starts.

If anyone has better links please feel free to post them sorry I can't come up with more links just in case they don't work for everyone. Any highlights from the press conference will start appearing on a twitter search of MH370 almost straight away.

and re this one....I know a few are saying that this is not a msm site and is a conspiracy site......this was also posted on examiner.com and was posted a few pages back as well through this site....and above as well

Thank you for letting me know. I wasn't aware that it wasn't MSM. is another one. Perhaps the list of banned sites that are automatically blocked (******) by Websleuths will be updated after all of this is over. :dunno:

Since I've already been quoted, should I edit my OP?

My apologies, I am learning every day!

:sigh:

Last I heard Examiner is also not MSM, there are simply select people on there that Websleuths trusts.
As a whole however, things there are NOT to be taken as fact. (If this has changed I apologize.) :twocents:

UPDATE [11.45am]: Media reports say the two passengers travelling with stolen passports on board MH370 were Iranians. A friend of one of the passengers said he had hosted the pair in Kuala Lumpur days before their flight to Beijing. The friend claimed that the men had bought the fake passports as they wanted to migrate to Europe.

I have been required to leave my passport at the front desk of hotels when travelling in countries with a different level of freedom and a different method of policing than we are used to in the USA and other Western democracies. These are places where the it is expected that the police will come around to check on foreigners staying in town and may ask for an explanation of why you are there and what you are up to.

Other than that I have not left my passport anywhere - I've had to show it to rent cars, but never have I been asked to leave it and if asked I wouldn't do it.

Yes, I mentioned that I recall having my passport photocopied at a hotel desk per their request. I don't believe we ever let them keep our passports because we were briefed to never do that. If I knew this might happen, I'd prepare ahead of time and bring copies of my passport. It should be enough for them to see it and have a copy. Upon checking out, I'd ask them to hand the copy back to me. Nobody needs your passport after you've been admitted into the country. If going somewhere exotic, I'd check with the Embassy, both mine and theirs, ahead of time to find out what to expect or look out for (scam wise). When a tourist, you can alert police if you sense you're being taken advantage of.

Obviously it worked out okay that you did so, but I'd not be comfortable with it myself unless I knew ahead of time it was required. But then maybe I wouldn't want to go into that country.

Oh, in my experience, examiner.com is not considered a MSM site. I will ask a Mod to be sure, but I'm pretty sure tambo and Sulamith are correct on that one. :)

Hmmm... looking for more info on this.

Is this MORE debris?? or the debris that they supposedly found the other day, but either couldn't find again or wasn't related to it.....getting confusing hey.

do you know where I can watch this?

Sky TV are broadcasting Press Conference live (in approx. 5 mins) so I guess most News channels will also show it

US satellite imaging firm helps to crowdsource search for MH370

With Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 still missing as search and rescue operations enter their fourth day, an American satellite imaging company has started an initiative to crowdsource the search for the jet.

In this initiative, the public will help analyse high-resolution images for any sign of the missing plane.

ABC News reported that DigitalGlobe, based in Longmont, Colorado, has trained cameras from its five orbiting satellites on Saturday on the Gulf of Thailand region from where MH370 was last heard.

Tweeted about an hour ago, and the article I just posted was updated at 2:25pm their time, it looks like.

Hopefully something new. Something, anything, would be a good thing right now.
