I think it's up for discussion. I did notice that passenger 84 on the Malaysian's manifest is not the same as on China's list (the blurred one). I'm assuming this because passenger 83 was different on the two lists - they seem to be in a different order.

A few articles have said that there was a Chinese actor on board - a stuntman.

Hi welcome Peanutty yes it was probably deleted we aren't allowed to post links to other forums. I have made the mistake of posting links to the airliners forum which is not allowed. We can post links to main stream media though if you find another map with the borders of air traffic control from a mainstream media site.

Thank you!! I did a bit of googling. There are some theories that the plane followed "FIR" boundaries of various airs traffic control areas. I find this very intriguing. I found a link to a map that required flash and I couldn't open it on my phone. Will keep looking for maps to post here. All this is IMO, I guess. ;)

Why do I get the feeling that there are many potential terrorists out there all over the world with notebook in hand listening to all of these expert pilots and taking notes???

I think it's shockingly easy to find a lot of this info on the Internet, anyways. Let alone if you were a nefarious kind of person with an imagination on how to get this kind of info. :(

They could have put on their oxygen mask before they made the climb in height and would be unaffected. Watching the Piers Morgan show on CNN tonight thought they said the people on the plane would be experiencing massive g forces and bits of the plane would be coming off at that height and during the quick decent. They tried it in the simulator while on air and alarms were going off.

But isn't it automatic that the oxygen masks would come down for the passengers in that case? They would eventually run out, and some people may not have managed to put them on, but at least some would stay conscious for a while, and when they ran out it wouldn't be an immediate death.

For those of us looking at Tomrod, I just saw this post on their FB page-

Have they ever said which passenger was using passport with number from another one?

I think I have a future career as a whale boat captain! :giggle:

I seem to have found another!

This idea of helping the search is great, but I wish I knew *exactly* where it was I am looking. I think this is still the prior search area (Dated 3/11/14).
They said they uploaded new areas, but I am a fumbling idiot at locating them :blushing:

I went to your first image and it looked like others I'd seen in days past that I attributed to being a whale? However, if you go over to the left and down a few tiles...there is something there. Im on my phone, so I'm not able to link the image I saw...I think you're on to something here...

Ok, I'm a newbie. But in thread 5 someone posted a piece of info from a pilot forum; that the erratic path through the 4 way stations actually would have kept the plane on the borders of air traffic control boundaries of different countries (Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand). Now I can't find the post - was it deleted because it wasn't main stream media? If that route was taken purposefully to skirt the boundaries of air traffic control that would, IMO, pretty much solidify hijacking (pilot or 3rd party). That would never happen just by coincidence.

Maybe I need to google and see if I can find the pilot forum that was referred to.

:welcome5: PEANUTTY!

Nice to have you with us :)

Now I am craving a Reeses though, dangit

I think military jets can fly that high.

I just wondered how many things were flying arround that "might have been the plane and might not have been?

I would guess someone would have to have some experience with g force to get a plane to fly that high and still be able to control it . Like a fighter jet pilot or something.

This is what I was thinking when I came up with my wacky stolen idea. Except I see the plane as being used to attack something big. I don't think they could fly below radar to the USA, but perhaps Bejing?

Could the Missing Malaysia Airlines Plane Have Been Stolen?

By Jeff Wise

...For instance? Some airline pilots have begun to speculate that one of the flight crew might have intentionally caused the plane to disappear and flown off with it to an undisclosed location. This line of speculation, outlandish as it may sound, was only bolstered when it was reported Wednesday that investigators were actively pursuing the possibility that the plane had been diverted "with the intention of using it later for another purpose.”

There’s no telling why someone would want to make off with a plane with 239 souls aboard. But if you did want to try, it’s at least physically possible to succeed. Here’s how you’d go about it.

- Kill or incapacitate your fellow pilot. “We have a deadbolt on the inside of the cockpit door,” says Rich Solan, who flies 777-200s for American Airlines.

- Wait until you’re over a region with poor radar coverage, then turn off your transponder, ADS-B, and ACARS. As I wrote on Slate previously, there’s a small stretch of MH370’s regular route, midway between Malaysia and Vietnam, that fits the bill. And this happens to be where the flight vanished....

Missing Jet May Have Been Victim of Piracy, Say Investigators

By Raf Sanchez/ Washington and Tom Phillips/Kuala Lumpur

The disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 may have been "an act of piracy" and the possibility that its hundreds of passengers are being held at an unknown location has not been ruled out, US investigators said last night (Friday)

I hope I'm allowed to say this, though. My friend works for the TX company frequently quoted as having 20 employees on MH370. She, and the rest of the company, is extremely upset. The rumors of the plane being hijacked to gain some kind of tech or knowledge from these employees is - to her - beyond ridiculous.

My X and his co-workers fly all the time. Companies do that. It is, in this economic environment, normal for multiple employees of a business to fly together to a trade show or meeting.

If this is a 1st strike or a trial run, I'd say it was successful beyond *their* wildest dreams.

I'm not so sure a 2nd strike would work as well, but who knows? It could be a blind and an attack is coming from the other side of the world and this is the distraction?

I hope for the families that resolution is coming soon.

There are articles real or not that talk about the Muslims not too fond of the Buddhists . :scared: I don't want to go too much into topic because it is a religion discussion, :seeya:
