Any chance we could put up a reward for information leading to the identity of MJD? Maybe it would tempt someone to come forward with a name.

Oh man, that place looks ghetto as all get out! They've got a drive up liquor store! You can see it on the sign!

That really does put things into perspective though. I see the car dealership is right across the street from the Ajax Mini-Mart so he may have seen MJD arguing with "her pimp" and a "rounder" woman (LDJ) when it very well could have been MJD arguing with and refusing Alonzo's "services" on the street... It really would help if we could find that TV clip. I checked You Tube and found nothing... :(

Yes. Clicking and dragging the picture left or right (or up/down) rotates the view, clicking on one of the white arrows on the yellow line on the street moves your location.

You know, I've wondered what happened to all her other things, where she was living at the time of her death. Where ever she was living, someone must have realized she never came back. If it was at a hotel, what happened to her stuff?

This is a great question! She had to have been living somewhere and wherever it was, someone there had to have seen her around. Where is her stuff???? And...who was she living with? At 15 and with no ID - she could not have rented a place on her own. KL I'm thinking....

I agree, but KL was using his moms addresses remember? Did anyone find any news articles about KL's arrest in 99? I wonder if it says were he was arrested. Might be a clue on where to put some additional info out there about MJD.

IIRC - KL was incarcerated when MJD passed. Won't swear to it, but I do believe LE questioned him initially when he was behind bars.....I strongly believe he is the key to finding MJD's identity. Him or one of the other girls he brought to Phoenix.

I remember he was incarcerated when interviewed by LE. I just wonder where he was living in Phoenix, and if he was using his moms address, he had to be staying somewhere. Sometimes the news will list a vague address such as "in the 100 block of Main St". or something similiar, that might give us an idea of the vicinity in which MJD was residing, if any business owners or neighbors remain. I have not found any articles as of yet, anyone?

You know, you have a great point. Her rent wasn't paid etc. Didn't somebody notice that kind of stuff???

Thank you!!!

When your LE contact gets back to you, FMW, would you also ask about the white guess brand shoes found in the car since MJD was barefoot when she was picked up off of the hwy...those can be expensive shoes...

Also was wondering about the Rolex. Men or Women's watch in car?

Good thinking. :D

I bet Detective could find out for us.

here are some reviews of the place I wonder who wrote the 1st review ??? The OWNERS???

one of Valley's newest hidden gems. Nestled away in the heart of downtown Phoenix, the ****is a safe and affordable family getaway!!!

This is wrong people should be warned of Hotels/motels like this housing sex offenders!!!!

I was wrong in the 1st post it is a HOTEL not MOTEL

here is another review

is essentially an extended stay for the homeless - not a "hotel" in the traditional sense. It is NOT new - It was old 30 years ago when I worked in that area. I give it a neutral rating because it delivers on what it promises. A safe place for the down and out to stay.

here is a link in case anyone is vacationing in Phoenix and wants a hotel
