I'm wondering why the state didn't ask the office assistant if she had anymore communication with MS on the day of the murder? (she had asked that day if he wanted her to go to the house to check on her and he said "no"). Perhaps the state thinks that is irrelevant? I think it's very relevant and telling of MS's intentions that Dr. P finds her. All IMO.

I am back at the Lee County Justice Center for the #SieversTrial. The trial is expected to continue with testimony from state witnesses in a few minutes.

The state has called Sandra Hoskins. She is a clinical director at a medical practice and was Teresa Sievers' medical assistance in 2015.

@Jake_Allen19
·

Hoskins worked for Teresa Sievers for more than seven years. Mark and Teresa were both Hoskins' bosses in 2015.

@Jake_Allen19

Teresa Sievers had a 9 a.m. appointment scheduled on June 29, 2015 which was the day she was found dead. Hoskins tried calling her cell when she did not show up for work.

@Jake_Allen19

Hoskins was not able to get in touch with Teresa Sievers, but did get in touch with Mark Sievers via text. Mark told her he could not get a hold of Dr. Sievers either, Hoskins said.

Mark Sievers was in charge of the billing at the medical practice, Hoskins said. Mark also worked with Curtis Wayne Wright Jr. to keep the computers running at the medical practice, Hoskins said.

Hoskins is released from the stand. That's all the questions for her.

The next witness called by the prosecution is Nick Schueneman of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office in Missouri. In 2015, Curtis Wayne Wright and Jimmy Rodgers lived in Missouri. In 2015 Schueneman was a crime scene detective with JCSO.

Schueneman assisted Lee County Sheriff's Office detectives with the Teresa Sievers death investigation while they were in Missouri during the summer of 2015, he said.

The tag has the letters "STL" on it, which I assume stands for St. Louis Lambert International Airport in Missouri. #SieversTrial

@Jake_Allen19
