Schueneman said during the investigation it was his job to collect, package and send the evidence in the Teresa Sievers death investigation in Missouri.

Schueneman is showing the jury a pair of black and white shoes that was seized from Jimmy Rodgers' home in the summer of 2015. Mummert asks if there are visible signs of blood of the shoes and Schueneman said it's hard to tell because the shoes are black.

Mummert is now asking Schueneman about the backpack collected from a vehicle parked at Jimmy Rodgers' home in the summer of 2015.

Schueneman said he did collect three hammers from a bedside table inside Jimmy Rodgers' home in the summer of 2015 when asked to double check his evidence list by Assistant State Attorney Ross.

That's all from Schueneman. He is released from the stand.

The next witness called to the stand by the prosecution is Jeffrey Conway of Potosi, Missouri. He was Rodgers’ boss in 2015 and testified last month during the Rodgers trial.

Conway said he and Rodgers both worked for a contracting company that supplied laborers to a mining and battery recycling business in Missouri called Doe Run during his testimony in the last trial.

Conway identifies Rodgers in a photo. Rodgers was wearing a black T-shirt that had a photo of the lamp from the move "A Christmas Story." The T-shirt said, "Major Award" below the lamp.

Rodgers was trained on how to avoid contaminants while working with the toxic materials at Doe Run, Conway said. Wright did not work at the plant, Conway said.

While working at the plant, workers either wear an acid resistant or flame resistant coverall, Conway said. Doe Run issues the suites as employees enter the plant, Conway said.

An employee can change into a new coverall as often as they want to, Conway said.

Conway was asked if Rodgers ever told him he was taking a trip out of town. Conway said Rodgers told him he was going to Florida to visit his brother and celebrate his brother's law school graduation the weekend of Sunday, June 28, 2015.

On June 28, 2015, Conway texted Rodgers about his work schedule. Rodgers said he couldn't work the following Monday because he was in Florida, Conway said.

The next witness is John Long, he is a captain with the Lee County Sheriff's Office. He is the commander of the forensic division of the Lee County Sheriff's Office.

In 2015, he was the assistant commander of the forensic division. I don't believe Long testified during the Rodgers trial last month.

On June 30, 2015, Long was on the scene of the Sievers house where Teresa Sievers body was found. He returned on July 1, 2015 and did a quick walk through at the home.

During the investigation, Long attempted to collect video from the Bonita Springs area that would be useful in the investigation. He collected video from several local businesses.

Taylor must be coming up next, or very soon, because they are laying foundation for all the evidence gathered from their home.
BEACH Good to read your posts! How, in your opinion, is this case going so far? I got a horrible (sinking) feeling when you mentioned TaySho because I'm going to get really perturbed if MM questions her in a demeaning manner. She may not be a sophisticated city girl, but she took police to important discarded evidence!
