#SieversTrial - WOW, another juror found notes in their notepad that are not theirs. Yesterday we learned another juror found notes at the back of his notepad from a juror in the Rodgers trial.

   Another juror found writing in the back of her notepad. She handed it to the bailiff. The court is giving her a new notepad.

   Judge Kyle told the jurors that he's been a judge for 13 years, and what happened yesterday with a jurors finding notes in his notepad was very unusual.
   
   He asked the jurors to look through their notepads to ensure there are no notes.

It's Kevin Stout, of the Lee County Sheriff's Office. He is a network administrator with the sheriff's office in the digital forensic unit.

The first state witness is Kevin Stout, from the LCSO digital forensic unit.

He became involved in the Teresa Sievers investigation when detectives asked him to examine different electronic devices.

#SieversTrial - Judge says they reuse juror notebooks but rip out all used pages before giving to new jurors. However, at least two of the Sievers jurors had notes in their books. One had notes from Rodgers trial deliberations. Not sure what trial the second one was.

He is describing how cell phones are examined and downloads are performed.

Stout says he received a phone to process in 2015, as part of the murder investigation.

Stout said he analyzed the phone that was found next to Teresa Sievers' body.

He used a system called Cellbrite to access and organize the information that was on the phone, Stout said.

Stout determined the last wifi connection on Teresa Sievers' phone was 11:19 p.m. on June 28, 2015.

She was found dead on June 29, 2015.

Stout says the forensic tool they use to perform downloads from cellphones is Cellebrite.

Using that software, Stout says he was able to find when the last wifi connection from Teresa's cellphone was.

ASA Ross is asking Stout if it is possible to recover deleted data.

Cellebrite can recover data that is deleted as long as it is not written over, Stout said.

If a phone is heavily used it is more difficult to recover deleted data, he said.
