9:06am, report came in, shots fired. immediately first responders were on scene in just over 5 minutes. paired up and got into the building, rendered first aid. treated patients, and attempted to locate suspect or suspects.

multiple wounded and multiple fatalities.
lone suspect in custody, in critical condition at local hospital. single weapon, handgun, no shots fired by officers.
do not believe any additional danger.

said suspect has not been identified as sex or name.

person at presser just said "are you saying the suspect shot his or herself?"

they shot that down, wouldn't answer.

I think I exaggerated when I say MANY times.
But it has been stated many times including once in the presser

My bad I think. I went back and listened again and did not hear female (as I reported earlier). Unless I just skipped over it on replay.

I had heard it was a lone female so I heard what I expected to hear...good lesson.

So the suspect probably did a self-inflicted gunshot wound, or somebody else in the facility had a gun and shot the suspect ...because they specifically said in presser that law enforcement did not fire any shots. My own opinion
