Please...I am on TV lent, and don't want to scroll through all so-called "news" of NN. Is there anything new with RM?

No, it was not the bombshell Brian Entin made it out to be. Police spoke to the man whose hand is in the video of the suspect leaving the house in the LA assault case. I can't believe it took them this long to identify and speak to the guy who opened the door for the suspect when he left. Oh, and they learned nothing from the guy.
So, the small, tiny little hand is a man's hand? I don't know what to say.No, it was not the bombshell Brian Entin made it out to be. To my knowledge, yes. The DNA samples are maintained to help identify remains should the military member be killed in action.Do all military members have their DNA stored in a database?
The Sheriff also thought it was a female's hand and arm closing the door. I still think it was a female's hand and arm. JMO, wish we could see the man who claims it was his arm and hand.In this video clip with the Sheriff, he says the person whose arm is seen in the video "is not in any way tied to the case as a suspect at all."
New developments in the Rachel Morin case -- the sheriff tells me they have identified whose arm is seen closing the door in the video of the suspect. Also -- he says they went to Chicago to interview someone. Morin's family tells us the reward for information has now doubled.
- The Sheriff also says, "the people in the residence did not know the person who had committed the home invasion and assault."
- There were more people in the home than just the two - 1) the young girl who was assaulted, and 2) arm man.
- MD Investigators interviewed many people in Los Angeles. One of those interviews led them to an individual in Chicago.
- The person interviewed in Chicago is also not a suspect and was also not able to help identify the suspect in the video.
- They are far from exhausting leads that they are working.
The Sheriff admitted that he misspoke, that he thought it was a female's arm, but it is actually a male's arm. Additionally, they have interviewed that male. The sherrif stated that the other people in the residence were not aware of what had occurred. Though the totality sounds strange, there maybe a context that could explain it:So, a man was at the house where a female was assaulted and it appears he escorted the suspect to the door, spoke to him and then shut the door? I just can't digest this.
Yes, I watched the video. I hope he is going on more than the man just telling him that it was his arm and hand. JMOThe Sheriff admitted that he misspoke, that he thought it was a female's arm, but it is actually a male's arm. Additionally, they have interviewed that male. MOO
My husband lived in LA for 16 years and as recently as 2018. He had the back window of his car smashed in while he was attending some event downtown. They stole a backpack he'd hidden under his driver's seat that contained an iPad, all of his credit cards, and even his passport. Passport theft is a pretty big deal that is often treated more seriously than a stolen wallet, but LAPD didn't even come out to him when he called to report the break-in. They told him to go to the nearest police station to file a report. They didn't fingerprint his car and they certainly didn't swab anything for possible DNA.Is it common for LAPD to take DNA evidence and fingerprints in every Home Invasion case? I mean they should but I hear stories about how the LAPD refuses to take blood samples even after a car theft or home invasion it's extremely difficult for them to do so.
