I personally feel that the items LE shared pictures of with Trista are more than likely related to Ayla's disappearance. Otherwise, what would be the point of showing them to her? The fact that she did not recognize the items as belonging to Ayla could simply mean that they were items from the DiPietro household that Trista had not seen before. On the United for Ayla blog, Jeff Hanson also indicated that there wasn't visible blood evidence on the blankets in the pictures shown to Ayla. Another thing--I could not imagine what motivation Jeff Hanson would have for fabricating the information that he has provided to the public regarding Ayla's disappearance. I for one believe him. Besides, the Maine State Police has not yet publicly refuted anything Trista Reynolds or Jeff Hanson has publicly stated.

I believe Jeff as well. In fact, I think LE has leaked information via the Reynolds before in an effort to draw out the guilty party or parties. I think LE may be applying pressure in hopes that somebody involved might take a deal and lead to a recovery. All MOO.

Deonata, your post makes very good sense. That isn't something that I had thought of recently. That would explain why Jeff Hanson has been quiet for awhile, and now all of a sudden all of this new information is coming out. Now, wouldn't it be wonderful if this is law enforcement's last ditch attempt before making arrests in this case?
 
There's another bit of surprising information from Jeff on the blog which supports the Reynolds family.
 
Who is the last person to see Ayla alive who is NOT a member of the family? If it's JD's best friend who sold him the life insurance, I'm have to call BS on that one. What is the date of the last seen alive for Ayla (outside the players in this case)?

IF the info regarding Justin and his best friend taking a road trip the evening [ETA CORRECTION: EARLY MORNING HOURS] in question is true, that would finally explain for me the reason the Tudella family jumped into the fray and put their spin on the case very early on. I have been trying for all this time to figure out what is their reason for inserting themselves so squarely in the middle of this case.

If the FB page rumor is true, then I get it now, they didn't insert themselves as players. They (at least one of them) was a player during the key time frame.

I have been following this case since Day 1... But my mind is fairly rusty from lack of much movement on the case (until now)...

Could someone...when convenient...fill me in on who Jeff Hanson is?

thanks you, it is an interesting re read in light of new allegations on the Reynolds family page and united for Ayla site.

This statement from Justin still sticks in my mind and my craw.

“When the time is right, everything is going to come out. And regardless of what law enforcement is saying or what (Ayla’s mother) Trista (Reynolds) is saying, this really isn’t the time to be saying anything. And law enforcement, they can say ‘We don’t believe they’re telling the truth,’ but there’s a big difference between fact and thinking something.”


DiPietro said he hopes that the person who took his daughter will send a signal out to the public that she’s alive. He also said he wishes the police could offer immunity to the kidnapper so Ayla can be returned.
