According to the Probable Cause statement on 26 Decemeber he freely admitted to the crime . . . early Thursday morning (22) he killed her & late Thursday/early Friday (23) dismembered her, placed parts in dumpsters.

26 Dec . . . Allen County Coroner’s office and other forensic investigators responded to two separate locations, one of which was the Northway mobile home park near North Clinton Street and Diebold Road, from where Alianha had disappeared, and another at a nearby convenience store/gas station. Human remains believed to be that of a female juvenile were found at both locations.
The major part of an autopsy was conducted today at the Northeast Indiana Forensic Center, but the forensic examination will not be completed until sometime tomorrow.

She knew it could be dangerous. The park of about two dozen homes was teeming with convicted sex offenders, with one living at nearly every address. She worried about neighbors with sex offense records who had been helping her father get by, according to trailer park residents. And before she arrived, she even asked her father if her children could be at risk for abuse from two specific men — including a suspect now accused in her daughter's death.
"He said, 'No. They will not touch your children. They're doing everything they're supposed to do,'" said Greg Shumaker, one of 15 convicted sex offenders who live at the park and the other man that Souders had inquired about.

Aliahna Lemmon's step-grandfather, David Story, said Wednesday that the Allen County Sheriff's Department and the FBI told family members not to talk to anyone about her death. He says they didn't give a reason.
Sheriff's Cpl. Jeremy Tinkel confirmed deputies asked the family not to talk to the media, saying it would protect the integrity of the case.

Motive still unknown in 9-year-old's killing
Shumaker and Tulley agreed there was nothing in Plumadore's behavior to indicate he would do such a thing.
“He was a friendly guy,” Tulley said.
They said the only unusual change in Plumadore's behavior was an increase in laundry. Shumaker said they washed his laundry for him, but on Friday he showed up with an extra load. Otherwise, he seemed fine.
Shumaker remembered Plumadore saying to him as he got into his truck: “I just want her back, I just want her back.”

Lemmon's cause of death still unknown
COD will remain unknown until further examination of microscopic findings and toxicology results is concluded . . . those are integral parts of the autopsy & each of those stages play significant roles in the accurate determination of the COD. Certain portions of the autopsy results are considered ‘closed medical information’ & will not be available for public disclosure.
