At least we know they are lookin at Jasmine. I'm. Sure they'll check this one too. While I hope she is alive, my gut says differently. If that's true, I just hope one of these remains are her so that her family can have closure and hopefully the perp brought to justice.

I've been keeping an eye on NamUs case #14692. It was recently updated to show that the remains are those of a male....so it is not Jasmine. Prayers for strength for Jasmine's family and for the family of the deceased young man. Hopefully he will be identified and bring some closure to his family.

I wonder if the gender determination was due to the extra attention by Comparing Jasmine's case.

Sadly there is no closure here. I still have hope though.

Curious though - Dental charting is available, DNA has been submitted but not complete, torso not recovered and one or more limbs not recovered. So do they need the pelvis to determine gender? Or can they determine that by DNA. If DNA is not complete they must have the pelvis.

I also think she died the day of the argument. I think of her every time remains are found in Detroit. I believe she was probably left in one of the many abandoned houses in Detroit. Someday, perhaps she will be found and her family will have a little peace of mind.
