those were the days...gone but not forgotten. I remember chasing the trucks that drove by spraying for mosquitoes...nobody cared. :crazy:
 
I KNOW! LOL. We would play all day long, just groups of kids on bikes or skates or at the park. I feel bad that my kids don't get to do that without me, but look at what happens. It's so sad.

Geez. Seems ironic that Jennifer and George were both busted for home invasions. Wonder if this last bit of trouble had the two of them in cahoots together during that home invasion. WHat do they say about birds of a feather? This child should have been removed from her mother's care a long time ago.

Are you kidding? There are all sorts of websites that these pedophiles go on and hook up with each other . One of them is NAMBLA. It is a website devoted to showing pedohiles how to lure, rape, entice, and sexually molest boys and girls that are as young infants. WHy can;t we put this smut out f business? Well because of your upstanding doctors, lawyers, accountants, surgeons etc pay good money for this information and smut and with the freedom of information act and the web, well we have ust made it heaven on earth for these pedohiles.

I think we should gather every single known and convicted pedophile who has causes ahrm or sexual abuse or murder to a child, and put them at Ellis Island or Alcatraz. The prison that is on the island off NY that is all grown over. Let them languish there. They can have at each other. Let them devour each other as beasts will do and keep their smutty nasty hands off OUR CHILDREN!!! Oh but our civil rights associations won;t LET that happen. To hell with ACLU. It is time that WE as parents start doing something to protect our children. Make our high paid officials do their job. Stop looking the other way.
 
Police said Kennedy is being detained because he violated the terms of his parole by having a relationship with a woman who has a child under the age of 17.

Jennifer B. brother, Michael B. told Local 4 he knew Kennedy was a sex offender and he used to fight with his sister about letting him around his niece.

we touched on this in many cases here, why not report it to DCF? He has a gut reaction, but doesnt act on it. So.......Mom knew and mom was warned, she didnt protect her child- if he's (Kennedy) responsible for any crime involving her child. She can get time, for culpable right?

I assumed they did that home invasion together. I think the grandmother actually had custody of Nevaeh.

He probably got out early for good behavior. Our adopted daughter's birthmother got sentenced 10 years for 2 counts of severe child abuse. SHe only spent 4 years in. She left a son brain damaged and blind and another child is crippled for life, will never have the use of his arms or legs. This"mother" only got 4 years, Her sons have a lifetime of pain.

GARDEN CITY, Mich. -- A Garden City girl who was out jogging Tuesday night was abducted by three men and then released, police said.
The girl's parents called police around 10 p.m. and reported their daughter missing.
Nearly an hour later, the girl, whose age is not being released, was found in the area of Inkster and Cherryhill roads.
She told police she had been abducted and assaulted and then released.

Was the mother allowed congucal visits? DId she carry on with one of the guards? Anything is possible?

What creeps me out about this case, they said they took his tackle box,,,,,,,,the Raisin River is really nearby. I was born and lived in the neighborhood there....two boys and a man drowned in that river - something you never forget. My brother knew one of the boys and we went to the funeral. I lived on Michigan Ave & Elm. There was nothing but an abandoned factory behind us, now I see there is a newer neighborhood back there. {{Hey, Tunker...did you see "Garrett" st? How cool is that! }} The River Raisin in that area is very trechorous as I recall. Great fishing spot for anyone who likes to fish.

I walked all by myself to kindergarden on Lincoln Avenue...um 1972 tho. How times have changed....I have memories of an old widower who used to invite me over to his backyard and give me popsicles and swing me in his arms, then I would walk home.

I just got caught up with the case, what other reason would a sex offender who is what 40 years old.....be dating a 24 year old girl? To more than likely molest her daughter. How sick is that! Mothers need to protect their children.....another classic case of mothers looking the other way or not clued in on the warning signs. JMO

Yes times are a changing. Not for the better either. I , too grew up in the early 70's. Born in 66 so I would go out early in the morning all alone riding my bike, etc until my parents woke up. Never a care in the world. Things were different then. Now if you told your parents a story about a widower calling you intot eh backyard to offer you posicles and swing you in his arms, there would be something un natural about that. Something a bit disgusting. Why? Just because that is how the pedophiles now act. it is a sad day on this earth when men and women can;t interact with an innocent child without someone thinking dirty thoughts. However as a mother of 5, I am the very first one to think those things. I am very leery of people. Esp those men who stop me and my kids and tell me how beautiful they are. Or they try and engage my kids in conversation. My oldest won't say a thing. Thank the Lord. However my twins, now 5, will talk up a storm, even thought we are constatnly talking about stranger danger. What has the world come to?
